***Official Day 3 Draft Talk***

Quote:Bennett had a groin injury that kept him out of Senior Bowl and combine. Both his parents are West Point graduates. #Jaguars- Via Hays Carlyon

Thanks. This clears it up a bit more.

Several teams looking at their needs, etc, just totally whiffed on Bennett. Caldwell is trying not to snicker.

Quote:7th round is made for taking risks. Dave should pick Collins and Ifo.

Would be crazy if both worked out and you essentially got 2 extra 1st rounders for free.

Is both Holliman and Derron Smith still available?

No, he should pick another player who fell due to injury but would be a perfect fit to the roster... South Carolina TE Rory "Busta" Anderson.

Derron Smith just went to Cinci.

KY, where did you want holliman?

Indeed they both are along with FS Kurtis Drummund. That's three FS prospects among the top ranked players remaining, so one of them might be a target for Caldwell. But my money is still on the South Carolina TE.

Err... Derron just went to Cincy.

Picking Collins would totally screw the team. If he's drafted and sits out the year, he can re-enter the draft in 2016. If he slides clear out of it as an undrafted free agent, he can't do that and will have to either sign with an NFL team or play in Canada.

I'd love to get Ifo in seven. Third-round talent if he can recover.

Id trade both 7th's to move back into the 6th for Holliman

The 6th round takes FOREVER

Collins states that if he gets drafted after the 3rd round, he'd refuse to sign..

Holliman is ok value now, but there are plenty of better players on the board still.

We're still a couple dozen picks away. I hope Busta falls.

Love the Bennett pick. Not a big need but interior guys are always nice.

I like what we have done (other than Yeldon).

The Bennett pick got really good grades of course:

Bro you have a straight man crush. It's like when UCFKnight shows up out of nowhere to make himself look stupid after I make a comment. Let it go.

The thing that complicates that is if he goes undrafted he can't reenter the 2016 draft. I'd make that point clear to his agent and see what he says about that because he'll be even further restricted by the UDFA salary limits. The only way I'd draft him is to get a gentleman's agreement before the pick is made to have him sign if drafted.

Yeldon is starting to become my favorite pick of them all. I'm quickly learning that he's a rare back with his forsight and cuts. No he's not FT, but he can make LBs eat dirt like FT. He's basically FT in James Stewart's body if you can picture that.

We've clearly had the best draft out of any team. It's not even close

Loved every pick. All 6 rounds of picks could become starters
