Fowler Hurt at Rookie Camp - Torn ACL

(This post was last modified: 05-08-2015, 05:11 PM by knarnn.)

Quote:If it is indeed an ACL tear is there any hope he comes back late in the season?
If its a clean tear with no other ligament damage and he's a quick healer and a beast in rehab he may be able to come back by the end of December.

At that point though he's better off just redshirting this year.

Quote:The acromioclavicular ligament in the shoulder (ACL).
It's not referred to as the ACL.

Can't bad things happen to other teams for a while?  Like... I don't know?  How about the tacks?  Or the Patriots.  Or the Colts.

I was wrong about Trent Baalke.

Quote:He said the mood and the impact on the jags right now is "brutal". That doesn't mean the injury itself is brutal. Stay positive guys, there's still hope it isn't a very serious injury that will keep him out all year.
lol @ a guy with a Chief Keef avi taking bout staying positive

Quote:Boom.

I remember some kid in HS football saying he tore his ACL and he had a shoulder sling on.
Find any reference to it as an ACL besides what some kid said.

One guy isn't going to make a big difference, but Fowler was not just one guy. He was 'the' guy on defense and projected to be a gamewrecker. There's a reason why he was the no. 1 nonQB drafted. This is a heavy blow. Going to cost us at least two wins, and several games our passrush will be anemic and we'll be blown out

If it's a clean ACL tear hopefully he's good next year. Could be worse. Texans had to deal with Clowney getting hurt but his injury is way worse than just an ACL.

He had a knee scope and micro fracture. That's usually done when there's cartilage damage and its tough to recover fully from. It'll most likely lead to premature arthritis.

He had microfracture surgery. One of the worst things to recover from

He still had a better better rookie campaign than Derrick Harvey

I think John Oesher is bad luck to be honest. Nothing good has happened since he arrived.

Every time we think we've found our dominant pass rusher something always happens.
