Had a lot of drinks. Woke up. Still bummed out.

This season is all about BB5 developing. But it would be nice to have a ferocious defense too. With Fowler gone and Marks iffy, what was our strongest group now feels suspect.

Our luck, the offense improves and averages 21 points per game. Our defense skids and gives up 30 points per game. 4-12 season.

Luck evens out eventually.   I prefer to take this unfortunate incident and see it as a portent:  one of our late round draft picks will be a Hall of Famer.   It has to happen, eventually, because in the long run, things even out.

In the long run, we're all worm food.

I just hope BB5 and our offense takes huge leaps this year. Our offense has to get way better for us to be competitive.

Actually, in the end, we're what comes out of  the other end of the worm.

When you get into the endzone, act like you've been there before.

Quote:This injury was no accident, could have been all avoided...

Athletes who routinely wear flip flops increase their chances of this injury significantly.  Thats the only realistic way of avoiding such an issue.

Torn ACL....no more Gators please. Only one ever worth a crap was Fred Taylor.
If that RV sales place wants Tebow in Jax bad enough to take out a billboard saying as much.....they should just HIRE him.

Quote:It's okay man, he'll do alright. We'll get about 5 wins this year, cheer up!

Wallbash  Wallbash  Wallbash  Wallbash  Wallbash  Wallbash  Wallbash
which would be the death blow... just enough wins to prevent you from being able to draft 'game changers', yet few enough to deflate any impression of progress. the real 'icing on the cake'.

I y'ams who I y'ams and thats all I y'ams...

After sleeping on the thought of Fowler and his ACL, as much as it sucks and I wish it wouldnt have happened, I feel better about the situation.. Not great, but better than yesterday.. We still have some guys on the roster who can go after the QB and I'm not giving up on them while Fowler mends.. Fowler says he going to come back bigger and stronger? I'm gonna hold him to it..

As much as I love me some defense, this season is about Blake and the offense.. The defense has shown the ability to be pretty stout last season (even without Fowler and our FA pick ups).. So lets see how they do first.. I'm still thinking, better than last season..

The defense should do its job this season, regardless of Fowler on the sideline.. This season, it's about scoring more than 15 points a game..

You really like to have Fowlers attitude.  The guy will come back better than ever.

Respect the game.  Play with a sense of urgency.

1.)  Take care of the ball.  Win the turnover battle.

2.)  It's all about 3rd down.  Win on 3rd down to win the game.

3.) Playmakers make plays.  The only reason that you put your uniform on is to make plays. In order to EARN your paycheck, you must make plays.

Learn from the great collapse of 2023.

The Lions have won one playoff game since 1957 so I think they have us beat.
