Happy birth day, knarnn!!

Thanks for posting all those tweets. Dante has an amazing attitude! I knew immediately when he came on stage with that big smile and crazy swagged out suit, he'd be a favorite of mine.

I don't know why I'm freaking out over his injury as much as I am, I never worry about players injuries.

I think it's just the final straw... it feels like this is the culmination of years and years and years of pain, and this is like some dark omen to the start of a new season of pain.

And, like I said, this guy seems like a player that can be a fan favorite...

It sucks but I'm not sure how much Fowler by himself would affect the win-loss column, especially in year one.  Do not panic, my fellow Jags fans, unless something happens to Bortles...  then, by all means, feel free to panic.

Can somebody tell Dante the spikes go on the BOTTOM of the shoe?

Watching Dante's time with the media today makes the pain worse. For being twenty years old his outlook and perspective is amazing. Plus he seems to really love the game which is always great to see from young guys. How can any fan of the Jags not love this guy?

Here's to a speedy recovery Dante and many years of you knockin QB's blocks off!!

Times two. I reported here after I saw him go down. I watched him thru my binoculars for most of the first hour at mini including his last play. I was thinking that he was giving 110% thru the whole practice. Often had a smile on his face. You can tell he LOVES the game. I watched him in the tent as he was looked over. During the break, TJ was the first Jag to go over and slap his hand. As I watched him on the cart going into the stadium, many fans were wishing him well and he waved and smiled at all of them. I wasn't a huge fan of his before.....but count me in now. God speed Dante. And Go Jags.

I honestly feel Fowler and Yeldon are going to be two pillars along with Blake that change the future of this organization.

I feel bad for the kid. I hope things turn around for your franchise and you have better luck in the future.

Quote:As a Titan fan I know you guys could care less what I have to say, but I truly wanted to say I'm sorry this happened to you guys and it sucks monkey balls. To be fair though, defense was not exactly a weakness for you guys last year. You even brought in more guys besides Fowler to improve it even more. Keep your heads up for this year, I think you will be much better.

Bortles should be greatly improved this year so your offense should get closer to catching your defense.

Best of luck this year.

Thanks man. That is class

Fowler's upbeat attitude makes me feel like everything's going to be alright. He's so positive, it's hard not to like him.

Ugh.. I hope Marks comes back and puts together a good season.

That's what I came to write.  I didn't read this thread, or listen to his presser.  All I saw was the smile in front of the camera...I instantly smiled too.   Bless him.  He'll be back and better.

Anchor, stop the madness baby.  You are not allowed to be morose.  You are one of the more positive, sane, reflective members of our community.  If you envision gloom, gloom comes.  The season isn't here yet...we are going to rock.

Well I'm back off my warning, what did I miss! Look on the bright side if there is one. Next year it's like two first round picks! Just our luck thou prayers up for fowler. No work on getting bigger and stronger! He will still be 21 at the start of next season wish him the best

After sleeping on this and drinking a whole lot of alcohol last night (on vacation) I'm starting to feel a little better about this.

First off, I just watched his interview and boy does he have the right attitude and mindset to get through this. He has that attitude that nothing is going to stop him from getting better and I can't help but respect that big time. It's really good that he's only 20 as well.

Also, I do kind of like the fact that he can sit on it, learn the playbook, how the vets handle themselves, and just observe everything going on. Looks like it worked for Aaron Colvin the way he came in and played at a high level right off the bat. I also like that Marks is there who just had the same injury. We know Marks is a pros pro and will have Dante's back.

This injury sucks, no doubt, but I think the defense will still play at a pretty high level and Clemons is definitely good for one bridge year until Fowler is ready to roll. Other guys have to step up.

Glad to see most are starting to feel better after the deflation of yesterday. I still see good things for the team this season.
