Super Bowl Prediction

Well? Might be a little early.

The AFC is clearly the weaker conference.

Seahawks defeat Baltimore. I'm giving them another shot with their core intact, adding Jimmy Graham, and Wilson's current contract. With Lynch aging and Wilson about to get a megacontract, they will still be competitive but they need to take advantage of their current window

I definitely agree with you that the AFC is currently the weaker conference.    The AFC seems wide open.   Baltimore is probably the team I would select from the AFC if I had to make the pick today.   Yet,  the Ravens may not have enough experienced firepower on Offense.   If the Bengals had a better QB situation,  they would have been my choice.  I remain very impressed with the Bengals overall roster minus the QB position.

As much as I hope I'm wrong,   the Packers would be my choice to win the upcoming Super Bowl if the pick was made today.    They have the best QB in the NFL,  with a strong overall balanced roster,  and a high caliber coaching staff.

Patriots will make it to the Superbowl again,,, idk if they'll win it (it's always a close game in their Superbowls).

All the Deflate-gate Drama will just drive them to prove they don't need deflated footballs to run through the AFC competition yet again.

I'm going out on a limb here and saying...

AFC Representative: San Diego Chargers

Reasons:  The Chargers were a tough team last year, and Manning is starting to go downhill.  They added Melvin Gordon in the draft, and their running game was one of their weakest spots last year.  The Chargers also made upgrades on their o-line.  Rivers was sacked 36 times last year, tenth most in the league.  Cut back on that, and I think you'll see a much improved Chargers team.  A lot of people will pick the Patriots -- saying that they will be 'driven' like they were after they were caught in spygate.  The difference is... they added RANDY [BAD WORD REMOVED] MOSS to their team that year.  Brady was also 7 years younger back then.

NFC Representative: Seattle Seahawks

Reasons: The Seahawks added Jimmy Graham in the offseason.  But more than that -- the Cardinals failed to get a Quarterback, and the 49ers imploded.  That means their division is going to be pretty easy for a team coming off a narrow super bowl loss.  They should be able to secure the #1 seed, and that means to get to the super bowl, you have to go through Seattle.  I'd say that the Packers probably have the best shot at dethroning them.  But I think the Seahawks will be the team to beat.

I was wrong about Trent Baalke.

Hard to go against the Seahawks or Packers for the NFC but AFC is a bit tougher, I still tend to think the Pats will try to prove themselves once again, maybe the colts actually beating them in the playoffs tho.

Pats v Cowboys, especially after Goodell lets Brady back in before their regular season matchup and Brady hangs 50 on them. The drama will be too compelling for there to not be league interference to make it happen.

Why can't the Jags make it to the "golden superbowl" this year in San Fran?...I'm being serious. I'm always amazed by how people continue to say that: "we'll be there in 4-5 years, 10 years, whatever". Why can't this year be our year to win it all? why not us?

I definitely like the Cards pick. They would've went all the way last year if not for some extremely bad luck at the QB position. I don't see the Steelers getting past Baltimore if push comes to shove.

The most difficult hurdle for the Chargers in 2015 will probably be the uncertainty regarding whether they will remain in San Diego beyond the upcoming season.   As much as the coaches and players attempt to block out the talk in the media and in the community,   it's going to be hard to escape this.

I think it's because of the lack of talent on the roster.

When you get into the endzone, act like you've been there before.

I'm just hoping for 2 new teams to make the Super Bowl this year.

Enough of Seattle and I surely don't want to see the Pats in there again.

Well that is certainly one of the reasons for "why not us".

Ravens lost a lot of talent. They will not be there. They barely squeaked into the playoffs with a better team last year than the coming year.

I think we will get a repeat. Patriots-Seahawks. Seahawks did nothing, but get better and nobody can match Patriots right now.
