You mean the people that have had two years to digest them and change an opinion?  It's shocking that a die hard Jaguar fan would fall in line with the team has put out there.

 

When those helmets came out there was some pretty negative feedback overall about how they looked.  I could come up with 25 other designs that are lightyears ahead of that one.

I think thats what most people hoped, but they botched it.  They came out a couple days before with a rumor that there would be the fade and everyone got excited...then they came out with that.

Whether someone has a liberal, or conservative viewpoint, a authoritative figure should not lock a thread for the sole purpose to get the last word in all the while prohibiting someone else from being able to respond.

wasnt it supposed to be " a jaguar coming out of the shadows"... so the gold should be in front i would guess... our helmets are going back into the shadows.. i will say they would look even worse with the gold in front.

For some of the newer posters...the story behind the helmet look.

One hot afternoon during practice, one player had his helmet on the ground during a break. Someone put a rolo chocolate/carmel confection on the helmet and forgot it. It melted and voila, some guy comes by and says..wow, awesome look.

Of course it led to remarks like...they don't know if they're coming or going. The team fades away after the 3rd quarter. Andy Warhol would be proud. They're good for one half. They are still a work in progress. Design by Stevie Wonder.
