there is 4k content available from directv, netflix, and devices like nvidia shield tv put out content in 4k, as well as ps4 and xbox one having the capability so in the future, games could be putting off 4k content as well.

 

so with that being said, i wouldnt get anything that isnt 4k capable and if you can find a good deal and have the money, nothing is better right now than a 4k curved tv and samsung makes the best ones.

 

in terms of best bang for your buck, i really love the brand TCL. check them out.

Realistically I doubt we see either console put out a slew of 4k content gaming wise unless it's something old being rereleased.

Not sure what other devices if any you use with your tv, but get a harmony remote, you wont regret it
