Sooooooo. My wife is starting to get homesick after 24+ years and has started to think about relocating (or I guess re-relocating) back to the Pittsburgh area. I'm actually going to interview for a job (over the phone) up there in a few days.
I'm conflicted about all of this. And the scary part is, the job looks like it's written by using my resume as a template. I may have a decision to make. ![]()
Why would they use your resume to write a job description? Then they'd have to hire you.
I'm trying to make myself more informed and less opinionated.
Stop saying whatever stupid thing you're talking about and pay attention to all the interesting things I have to say!

I enjoy spicy food and trying new things; for example I went to Vietnam 75 and tried PHO (basically soup/broth with your choice of sliced meat, sliced uncooked jalapenos, bean sprouts, basil leaves, and Lime). Then you can add (which I did) sriracha sauce, soy sauce, and/or a kind of fish paste oil.
It was delicious enough to slurp every bit, and I might even go again. We show less advertisements to registered users. Accounts are free; join today!
It really gets my day started off badly when somebody is in my favorite stall in the men's room.

Quote:Is Pho not popular back there? There are maybe 4 or 5 places in Jax to get Pho as far as I know and a couple of them stay quite busy, but there is certainly a healthy percentage of the population that isn't "hip to it."
WOW! I actually got Comcast to knock $26 off my bill for 3 weeks of no service..........

Quote:WOW! I actually got Comcast to knock $26 off my bill for 3 weeks of no service.......... You know, if you call them every so often and schmooze them, they'll take $50-75 bucks a month off your bill for six months or so. I've done that for years... You just have to be really nice about it and mention how it's not really fair that long time customers get screwed compared to all the deals new customers get. They've done it every time I've called.
