Pretty much this. This entire episode could've been easily avoided. He's like a 3 year old accused of stealing a toy, denies it, but refuses to empty out his pocket.

What if there were no texts related to the incident?  And if there were, how would he know they existed?  And if he knew they existed, why wouldn't he already have them?

 

Why would they trust a man whom Tom Brady pays to represent him, and who stands to lose future business if his client comes off looking like a cheater, to give them the texts that are applicable to the situation any way?

 

This whole thing is nothing but an interest gimmick.

I think he's (Brady) a cheater. The whole franchise stinks of shadiness. But then again... I don't think the NFL as a whole has the cleanest of noses...

 

I hope the NFL upholds the 4 games. I hope Brady tries to take it to federal court (a real waste of government time and money--they love that) and I hope they back up Goodell (as it should be, per the CBA agreement)

 

You can't give the man all the power and complain when he uses it. You agreed to it as part of a union... deal with it.
