Complete more than 56% of your passes and don't throw three picks and your team won't be in this position.

yeah those picks in the endzone were killers but you gotta admire his poise and bringing his team back.

He's spent two years on one of the best teams in the nation. He did great on that drive but I would also expect it from him.

Mettenberger still gonna be a 1st rounder, and Murray still gonna be a mid round backup QB prospect. Been that way all year.

I could see him going very late in the 1st or taken early by a trade up in the 2nd.

What if Pittsburgh took him. They'd go from one berger to another.

If he has a good game and can keep it up through the end of the season I can see him becoming a Cleveland Brown.

I'm usually not like this, but I really can't get pass his off the field stuff.

Not familiar. What is his off the field stuff?

Also he had a beautiful long pass but he should have recovered that fumble instead of holding up his touchdown arms.

He has a sexual assault conviction. I have a real problem with hurting women. Anyway, this is a sports message board. Sorry for bringing it up.

No chance.  He has the ideal NFL skillset.  Tall, great arm, tough, more of a pocket passer.  The question with him is pocket awareness, consistency, and does he have "it".  But some team will fall in love with the raw skills.

The only thing that I can see causing him to drop is if he has more off the field or personality issues that we as casual fans arent privy to.

If Ryan Mallet went 3rd round, Mettenberger should at worse go there.  And Mallet dropped because the guy was a pure statue and his personality turned off certain teams.

I have no idea  why anyone would WANT either of these two QBs in the first. They are both prototypical system QBs. Cam Cameron isn't coming with Mettenberger.

If Im the cardinals or a mid to late round team with an aging veteran I take Metts or Carr
