Quote:How much do you believe the Analytics we've employed has made a difference in our recent drafting? Doesn't it appear we've been able to select players that weren't necessarily off the radar (no school of mines players), but players such as Linder who wasn't a high round prospect that's ended up being a stud. I think the analytics are a tool but not a driving factor. Tony Khan did tweet out #analytics in reference to Corey Grant's kick return during the scrimmage though. Mostly, I just think Caldwell is a good GM.

==================== Kevin Nowitzki @RedmondHill1 @mike_e_kaye if you had to bet on it who has the best year Teddy, Blake , or Derek Carr 5:30 PM - 9 Aug 2015 Answer: I think there are a lot of different ways we can look at the most successful year. I think all three quarterbacks will improve their teams' records and their own individual statistics. I think Bridgewater wins the most games because of the return of Adrian Peterson and what the second year passer showed as a rookie, especially down the stretch. I think Bortles is in line for the best statistical season based on his command of the redzone during training camp and his upgraded weapons on the roster. I also think Bortles and Greg Olson have clicked and I think this offense fits Bortles' strengths a lot more. I could easily see Bortles having a 2.5:1 touchdown to interception ratio this season if he takes the next step. Carr, I think, will probably win the least amount of games and probably the worst statistics of the three, that said, he will probably have worst weapons and defense to accompany his journey this year. It's good that we have targets that can compete with the 'bigger names'.
@ryanohalloran: Yeldon will practice today but non contact.
@ryanohalloran: DE Jared Odrick (knee) sitting out today. ... Clemons still out. ... Lee, Thompson, Gratz not practicing. #Jaguars @mike_e_kaye: Julius Thomas working on his blocking in one vs ones. #teamsideline https://t.co/P6uaSM9qh8 *JT80 gettin it. @mike_e_kaye: Out of bounds but great grab by Hurns. #teamsideline https://t.co/TS44ik4KJt
@mike_e_kaye: Bortles throws on the run and connects with A-Rob. #teamsideline https://t.co/069f4GsIR5 @mike_e_kaye: Colvin with a nice break up on Julius Thomas & then completely blankets Allen Robinson on the next play, both on outside. Having great camp. @mike_e_kaye: Tony Washington with a really nice touchdown grab on his outside shoulder. He's having a great day. #Jaguars @mike_e_kaye: Colvin breaks up another pass in the endzone from a leaping Allen Robinson. Well placed by Bortles.

Cyprien looking like he's in mid season form, missing the largest receiving target on the field....
@mike_e_kaye: Washington with another great catch, slow to get up, walks off with trainers.
@mike_e_kaye: Myers with two misses past 50... @mike_e_kaye: BB5 to Lewis on a dump off for a TD. #teamsideline https://t.co/ILpBrZFBAi @mike_e_kaye: Nick Marshall continues to look the part at cornerback. Broke up a pass in the endzone. We show less advertisements to registered users. Accounts are free; join today!
@mike_e_kaye: Benn with a nice catch then breaks free for a touchdown. He's looking good. The ball was from Henne.
@mike_e_kaye: Mike Bennett with a very nice stop on a Storm Johnson run. Coach yells "Good job, Michael." *our daily Bennett alert.
@mike_e_kaye: Walters is catching everything today. He had an awesome TD catch on a bad throw that was hit in the air earlier.
@mike_e_kaye: Ryan Davis rushing from Marks' spot, bats down a pass from Henne. That's been an issue for Henne during camp. *lol in camp? @mike_e_kaye: Khairi Fortt with a pass breakup in coverage with Bortles throwing down the seamz @ryanohalloran: Jaguars working out DL after practice
@BranchNout90: Nobody is safe even reporters. Clowning in training camp with @bigdavis813 #WhatAreThose http://t.co/0ryWU0leOj

Quote:To me, he has been the biggest surprise of camp. I don't know about surprise, but I'm most excited about Bennett. Quote:Come on now, that was Josh Evans fault. sarcasm Nice. Good to see Sergio Brown in mop up mode. Lewis would have had to make the run of his life to juke Cyprien (which he did), then juke POZ and a waiting Sergio to get to the endzone.
FWIW, if they were going to the ground, I'm 91% sure Cyp would've had him.
