Don't look too deep into Week 1 vs Steelers

#1

Steelers easily have the best, if not one of the best offenses in the league with Cannon Big Ben, Best RB in the League Bell, and those speed targets in Brown, Wheaton, Archer, and Bryant. The fact that the Jags gave up one big play and was able to recover and contain their offense on the run and short yardage situations showed that our defense has grown significantly.

Also we need some better trainers. These injuries are ridiculous. Better off going to Shands or Scholastic and getting your daily check up.

You failed to mention their top 5 offensive line, that offense is beyond stacked. It wouldn't surprise me if they lead the NFL in total offense and scoring at seasons end, their achilles heel is that awful defense,

You know any good exercises to prevent fractures?

They lack depth as well. If Ben goes down their finished. But that starting offense is top 3.

Steelers offense is gonna be scary good. All the respect in the world too them. Keep in mind our starting defensive line was out so I'm sure they will play better once everyone is healthy.

Also, keep in mind this was their second preseason game, and our first.

I'm sure the lack of any defensive line starter had nothing to do with it. Amirite?

Exactly. Do better trainers inject some sort of kevlar fibers into the bones?

Jags had some nice plays, yet it was still preseason. Lets not forget what Big Ben did in just three plays. Long road ahead of us, but things are looking up.

This comes up every year. I'll bet it comes up for EVERY team's fans in the NFL, since every team has some kind of an injury. Strange there's injuries in football that can't be jump roped or push up'd out of. They're human men who when they fall on their wrists, will break no matter how many jumping jacks or gassers they run. They're not cyborgs.

You do realize the Steelers put in their backups don't you?

I think our strategy was to let Ben get his numbers and stop the rest of the team.  Kind of like playing against LeBron ..... let him get his 35 points but stop everyone else.

I'm just telling the turh here. Ben did well againest our defense, but at same time its just a pre-season game.   score was 8-0 until pits. took ben out. im just saying. we will know more when we are closer to real season. maybe even by our 3rd game were the starters play longer for both teams.

They did some substitutions but it wasn't all scrubs out there.
