They just can't stand leaving the Jags out of the mix out there.
What a crock.
Because Jaguars is our mantra

Um....so teams are thinking of moving to a market that has already lost teams in the past to other markets that now are going to lose their teams?
Reminds me of who's on first, what's on second and I don't know's on third. California will never support teams that are constantly moving and looking for fans that aren't there.

Quote:Let the rumors spread like wildfire!! The SanDiego Chargers are currently worth $995 million, according to this Forbes link they had the team at $920 million with revenue at $241 mil (Which I think is old from 2010) http://www.forbes.com/lists/2011/30/nfl-...08205.html The article does state that the team isn't selling out as it would want and the stadium is outdated. Ranked #23rd ----------------------------------- The Jaguars sadly are ranked the worst at 32, team value $725 mil, but revenue is $236 mil and the Jaguars get way more money per fan than the Chargers at $46 the population is a third of that of SanDiego's and thus the Jaguars simply don't have the number of fans that the Chargers have in a larger city. (again I think Forbes ranking is from 2010) ---------------------- I think the Owner is not going to move the team any time soon but I wouldnt rule it out as ever happening, sadly its a business & its all about the bottom line.
Moving to St. Louis? How misinformed are these guys? They just confirmed a 30 million dollar practice field for next season.
Jason Cole is an idiot and I wish he were held accountable for being completely wrong. I hope you're reading this Jason... YOU ARE WRONG!
Shock the world

While all these other teams like St Louis, San Diego, and Oakland have failed to compare to places like Jacksonville. ![]() We show less advertisements to registered users. Quote:https://mobile.twitter.com/JasonColeBR/s...5456900096 For all the hate that they want to state about the Jaguars sure seems like a lot of people around the country want the Jaguars to move there... if only they would buy more tickets in Jacksonville instead of begging for them to move there...
Quote: While I agree with your post in general, I have to question this portion. I live just outside of Orlando and other than the Jaguars Caravan stop at the Altamonte springs mall last year, I haven't seen any signs of marketing down here. I would certainly love to see some.

They have a promotion right now with UCF. It is packages that include tickets to a game and transportation from campus to Jacksonville.

I have a really great idea. Why don't those 10 or 20 thousand football fans in St. Louis just move to Jacksonville? Problem solved.

I live just outside of Orlando and other than the Jaguars Caravan stop at the Altamonte springs mall last year, I haven't seen any signs of marketing down here. I would certainly love to see some. You're never going to see the team totally saturating the region with advertising. But, compared with what Weaver did, the front office has put more effort into expanding the footprint there. They've identified new media partners in the area, and as was stated above, they're going after the UCF market trying to capture those Bortles fans who might be willing to come to Jax for a game. They're also doing more marketing to corporations located in Orlando. My own company has been targeted because they have a large presence just outside of Orlando. Like I said, it's not a total bombardment, but it's a more proactive approach. Never argue with idiots. They drag you down to their level and beat you with experience.
I'm from St. Louis originally (I know, sorry) and still have family in the area. I can tell you STL is a baseball town all the way. There are some good football fans there, true but it in no way compares to Jax for football passion, it's not even close. As a city, I don't see where the business climate has any particular advantages over Jax (in fact in many industries, Jax is ahead). It just doesn't make sense. I hate to see teams move in general but if STL loses the Rams it's hard to picture how they'd ever get another team.
I'm condescending. That means I talk down to you.

I live here. I'm a season ticket holder and I LOOK for Jags marketing down here. I've not seen any. Ok, they advertise on campus at UCF but the average person in this market has seen nothing other than the local media bashing the jags.
Oh, and the Bucs Dolphins game is on two stations here. Jags game? Not on.. We've got work to do.
I heard we're moving our entire facility to the deck of an aircraft carrier to be named at a later date. This is Khan's plan to "go mobile" in not just the digital sense but in the football sense. All fans and crew will board roughly 2 hours before game time to depart and head towards undisclosed destinations. Some names floating around include Key West, Bermuda Triangle, Nova Scotia, Cuba, Mexico and possibly even Antarctica because the penguins and walruses are really bored.
No pain, no gain.
