I could be wrong but I believe they were getting the radio broadcast, not the patriot team communications like some appear to be implying.  Getting a radio broadcast overtop of your communications might be slightly annoying.

They can't hear each other to coach the game...slightly more than annoying.

I wasn't defending Joeckel either but people calling Harrison trash are very wrong. He'd still be a starter for 80% of the teams in the league, the guy is still very good.
