He'll wait until the first win of the season in week 10 and then they will have a frantic post-game party in the locker room like last year.

Reporter: Coach, that was a pretty bad game, what are your take aways from this?

Badly: Everyone played well today.  I saw some positives.  THeres a few things we have to work on.  I'm taking the guys out for ice cream after this.  Next question?

I would have loved to hear some fire from him. This team is "built", yet nobody stepped up and made plays. In the second half we were physically manhandled in the trenches.
Respect the game.  Play with a sense of urgency.

1.)  Take care of the ball.  Win the turnover battle.

2.)  It's all about 3rd down.  Win on 3rd down to win the game.

3.) Playmakers make plays.  The only reason that you put your uniform on is to make plays. In order to EARN your paycheck, you must make plays.

Learn from the great collapse of 2023.

Won't happen.  He wants to play nice all the time.

I'm tired of hearing the words "spirit", "conviction", & "improvement". Gus Bradley would make a really good male cheerleader for some college. I can see him now, dressed in his male cheerleader outfit, with his bullhorn yelling; "we got spirit, yes we do, we got spirit how about you?". Pro sports is about winning, not preaching the word "spirit" as though it's an alternative to winning.

Regardless of how much we all may or may not like Gus, the results are not there.  Hopefully, things turn around this year but this first game didn't hint at any significant change from the past

No words can deflect criticism of that performance. Either way, I don't miss Del Rio's "take our lumps and move on" speeches either.

No pain, no gain.
