And it has nothing to do with participation trophies. It has everything to do about him doing it on national television and embarrassing the university. Why do you think he apologized today? And watch the video. When he steps back towards Taylor, he looks like he is raising his arm like he is going to strike him. ![]()

Quote:I guess. It doesn't bother me at all. I mean, if you watch football.... coaches get upset sometimes. Coach Gus Badley never seems to get upset at his players when they screw up.
I survived the Gus Bradley Error.

When he steps back towards Taylor, he looks like he is raising his arm like he is going to strike him. Was it excessive? Maybe a little. Did he get his point across across to Kelvin how selfish and foolish the penalty was? I think he did and I doubt he'll make the mistake again. I hate how strict college football is on celebrations and how quick they are to penalize players for what I think is an acceptable amount of celebrating for a guy who just scored a TD. But throat slashing isn't acceptable.

You've never apologized to someone after you yelled at them? It was a public incedent, a public apology should be expected. The whole thing was overblown.

Quote:You've never apologized to someone after you yelled at them? It was a public incedent, a public apology should be expected. The whole thing was overblown. Lol, the only people that are saying it was embarrassing are opposing teams fans (mostly FSU fans.) Taylor made a tweet on Sunday that he loved Coach Mac, he screwed up, and Mac will make him a better person. It's not like he wasn't told a quarter or two before by Coach Mac that he doesn't want any more celebration penalties and then turns around and does the most blatant thing you could do to get a flag. Was it over the top? Maybe. Was it deserved? Yes.
I'm a Georgia fan, and don't make a habit of defending gator coaches, but Taylor deserved the chewing out he received. It was a stupid, avoidable penalty.
My high school coach did worse. LOL This certainly doesn't deserve to be a national story, but in today's touchy-feeley society I guess it is.

Bon Jagley, you might be too sensitive for this sport if the coach offended you.
