With Joeckel on a hurt ankle, Long could at least push him and he is 100 times better then Young who was awful Sunday

Because Joeckel won't miss many games, if any. Plus, Jake Long is pretty injury prone. I think we have enough injuries here.

1. He's an injury waiting to happen.

 

2. He only plays left tackle, whereas Young plays both sides.

 

3. He's pretty much done. I doubt he'll be anything more than a serviceable stopgap for Atlanta.
