(Kane's clairvoyant) Myles Jack out for the season with a knee injury
|
Announced by Jim Mora today.
No specifics but it was rumored as a torn ACL. I will curious to see how this impacts his decision to declare for the draft next spring. <div><a class="" href='https://twitter.com/thejackwang'>@thejackwang</a> </div> <p class="" style="color:rgb(41,47,51);font-family:Arial, Verdana, sans-serif;background-color:rgb(252,252,252);">UCLA LB Myles Jack is out for the season with a knee injury. Just devastating.

wow bummer for him. Did he do it in practice? I thought I saw he got an INT on the last play of the game this past weekend and didnt look hurt. Although who knows maybe he was playing with the injury.

This is really sad for him, and football fans everywhere. It really is a joy to watch that guy play football. Here's hoping that this isn't a major setback as far as his overall career is concerned.
I'm trying to make myself more informed and less opinionated.

Quote:I think this will force Myles Jack to stay at UCLA for his Sr season.Agreed Quote:I think this will force Myles Jack to stay at UCLA for his Sr season. Maybe not. I read last night that Jack had taken out an insurance policy in the case that he didn't get drafted in the First Round. This, compounded with the relatively early timing of his injury may be reason enough for him to enter the 2015 Draft.

This, compounded with the relatively early timing of his injury may be reason enough for him to enter the 2015 Draft. I saw that too. 5 million bucks is what I saw. But of course this past draft, there were two players (Gurley and Cedric Ogbuehi) picked in the first round that were coming off our ACL tears. So he could still go in round one.

Torn meniscus. That's better than a torn ACL but still out for the year. If he's able to recover in time for an April workout, I think his draft status will be fine.

Quote:My heart skipped a beat until I saw it was the old thread. And before those two things, I also thought this thread was a joke. Also, I never understood the phrase "skipped a beat". People hearts beat faster at stuff like this, so it's mathematically impossible. Quote:And before those two things, I also thought this thread was a joke. Maybe it's from people thinking their heart briefly stops in hearing certain news? You do make a good point though. |
