#41

Hargreaves and Robert N? ole miss DE in 2nd round. That's what Walter football has us drafting. I'd be happy with that.

When all else fails, create a mock draft!

I call this mock draft a defensive resurgence - especially at the LB position.

Free Agency:

1. Cordy Glenn - OLT - Bills - 6'6" 345 Lbs - 27 Yrs old in 2016

The Jags can not suffer through injuries at the OT position so they sign Glenn to a contract similar to that of Parnell and install him at the OLT spot moving Luke Joeckel to OLG, where his run blocking skills can be best utilized. Zane Beadles is traded to the Dolphins for a Rd 5 draft pick (Pick 150)

2. Coby Fleener - TE - Colts - 6'6" 251 lbs - 28 Yrs old in 2016

Jags let Marcedes Lewis go and pick up another pass catching TE to pair with Julius Thomas or replace Thomas when the injury bug bites. Fleener is a big fast target and more of a WR than TE, but Blake needs more targets in the middle of the field.

Draft: - Jags end up with a 5-11 record and draft 8th in each round.

Rd 1(8): Jaylon Smith - ILB - Notre Dame - 6'3" 235 Lbs

Ultimate successor to Paul Posluszny at the MLB position

Rd 2(40): Jordan Jenkins - OLB (Otto) - Georgia - 6'3" 253 Lbs

Rotates with Dan Skuta at the Otto position and holds the edge as well as rushes the passer.

Rd 3(72): Shaq Lawson - DE - Leo - Clemson - 6'3" 275 Lbs

Replaces Andre Branch on the roster and rotates with Dante Fowler at the Leo DE position

Rd 4(104): Karl Joseph - SS - West Virginia - 5'11" 197 Lbs

Backup SS who will push for playing time in the years ahead

Rd 5(136): Terrance Smith - WLB - FSU - 6'3" 232 Lbs

Backup WLB behind fellow FSU alumnus Telvin Smith

Rd 5(150 - from Dolphins for Zane Beadles): Brian Poole - CB - Florida - 5'10" 208 Lbs

Backup CB/FS - stock could rise this year with playing time

Rd 6(168): Jonathan Williams - RB - Arkansas - 5'11" 224 Lbs

Injured foot in preseason and is out for year - ran for over 1100 yards in 2014 as a backup

Rd 6(180 - from Steelers for Josh Scobee): Curt Maggitt - OLB-DE - Tennessee - 6'3" 256 Lbs

Injured hip and may not come back in 2015 - had 11 sacks in 2014 as DE - would push Chris Smith

Rd 7(200): Antwaun Woods - NT - Southern California - 6'1" 320 Lbs

Would compete for backup NT

Free Agency addresses Offense with OLT upgrade and another receiver in the middle of the field.

Draft addresses depth on the defensive side of the ball.

All teams suffer from injuries and only quality depth can overcome the plague of injuries.

Hargreaves just got another INT, i'll be sad if the Jags don't get him. The guy is the best CB in the country.

We aren't getting him because we will be picking too high and have more pressing needs than corner.

Not sure where the Jags will be picking but I have to agree the team has more pressing needs than a starting corner

Nice, actually very nice!

Only thing missing is a quality #2 vet QB

You don't pass up talent like that though.

1st Round: You can't go wrong with Jalen Ramsey at FS!

2nd Round: Emmanuel Ogbah DE- This would be great for rotation.

3rd Round: Corey Robinson WR

FA: Russel Okung LT, for the right price of course.

Nick Fairley DT, to upgrade Roy Miller.

Brian Cushing MLB, for the right price.

Dream offseason lol

Through two games, I think it'd have to be either a CB or FS. Too many times already have we seen the middle of the field exposed with the deep ball.

BORTLES ISN'T A FRANCHISE QB. FOURNETTE WILL BE A BUST.

What a difference a week makes.

I am now projecting a 7-9 record for the Jags causing them to fall to Pick 13 in each round.

Free Agency:

1. Nigel Bradham - MLB - Bills - 6'2" 241 Lbs - 27 Yrs old in 2016

Jags will use both Poz and Bradham at the MLB spot. Poz on 1st down with Bradham coming in on 2nd and 3rd downs.

Jags pay 4 Yrs - 20 MIl

2. Tashaun Gipson - FS - Browns - 5'11" 205 Lbs - 26 Yrs old in 2016

Playmaker Centerfielder with a knack for the Interception

Jags pay 4 Yrs - 40 MIl

3. Coby Fleener - TE - Colts - 6'6" 251 Lbs - 28 Yrs old

Fleener and Thomas dominate the middle of the field for Blake

Jags pay 4 Yrs - 25 Mil

Draft:

Rd 1(13): Kendall Fuller - CB - Va. Tech - 6'0" 197 Lbs

Jags have 5 starting caliber CBs to compete in a pass happy league. 2nd best CB in this draft class

Rd 2(45): Jonathan Bullard - DE - Florida

Bullard could be a double digit sack guy and team up with Dante Fowler to wreck havoc on the Colts, Titans and Texans

Rd 3(77) Tony Conner - SS - Ole Miss - 6'0" 215 Lbs (INJURED)

Falls due to a MCL tear that happened in the Alabama game.

Rd 4(109) Pharoh Cooper - WR/PR - South Carolina

5th WR competes with Greene for slot and punt return duties. Could be a poor man's Randall Cobb

Rd 5(141) Terrance Smith - WLB - FSU - 6'3" 232 Lbs

Backup WLB and special teamer

Rd 6(173): Curt Maggitt - SLB - Otto - Tennessee - 6'3" 256 Lbs (INJURED)

Backup Otto LB and pass rusher

Rd 6(180 - from Steelers): Jonathan Williams - RB - 5'11" 224 Lbs (INJURED)

Backup RB

Rd 7(205): Trevone Boykin - QB - TCU - 6'1" 205 Lbs

Backup QB and special teams ace

I hate seeing him and KT on this current Gators team. Seems like a waste of their college career. Gators definitely produce some amazing CB's though, that never seems to change.
