New Head Coach

Chaging the coach for to satisfy some of the fanbase is ridiculous. The change would only satisfy that fan temorarily. Look at the first four games last year til now. The change is evident. There are still pieces to the puzzle draft wise and injury wise missing, but the change is in progress,

I'm not sure where the notion comes from to fire the HC to appease the fans.  Speaking for myself (and probably a lot of the fans who believe he should be fired) it's because I don't see a leader who can take the Jags to the Super Bowl (which is the goal after all right?).  You can look at it from multiple angles.  I also believe that the majority of the other NFL head coaches in the league would get more out of this roster than Bradley does.  I also know that if Gus is to turn it around then it would be historical improvement since there are less than a handful of coaches who have started nearly this bad in their HC career and made it to a Super Bowl (i.e. Chuck Knoll, Jimmy Johnson).  There's no way I can believe that Bradley will turn out to be a HOF type of coach.

Now, for those who are on the Gus bus and believe in him, it's all good.  However, my opinion is that more evidence points toward Bradley being a failure than a success as an NFL head coach.  I think most who are in favor of Bradley are actually more opposed to "starting over" than they are actually "for" Bradley.

IMO, if we have a new coach next year, we will see a lot of improvement because the potential on the roster is actually pretty decent.

The only real qualm I have with Gus is that, at least publicly, there seems to be no accountability.

While we don't have the glaring position like early last season when moves were made on the Oline because of poor play.... I would have liked to see Gus take a time out on the drive that had multiple penalties, and kind of get the guys together and give them a talking to.

Although I will say this past Monday his presser had a slightly different tone. He was honest and you could see in his face he seems to be losing the positivity and moving toward "better figure out how to save my job"

I suspect we'll see a more polished team against the Bucs. If not... we may need a more firm voice to guide.

Getting a new Coach at this juncture would be a mistake. These young players need some consistency and when you bring in a new Coach they have to learn all new systems. So what, we wait ANOTHER 3 years for some progress?

If you're certain Gus Bradley can lead this team to a Super Bowl then you are correct.  If he can't, then it's better to move on sooner than later.  Do you believe GB can lead this team to a SB?  Or are you simply tired of "starting over" again?

kevin sumlin is an interesting one i havent considered...  im not for firing bradley ... i generally go against college coaches who dont have much nfl experience being placed at HC but i think he would be an interesting hire at a coordinator role.

Its not me that I am considering. It is the team and a young team at that with a very young QB. They have a system, and in my opinion a very good OC. I believe that they CAN turn this around. I just wish it was not so painful.

Would likely be an assistant to finish this season...but, who would you like to see as the next long term HC? I'd like to aquire Bill Cowher. This team needs a coach that isn't afraid to hold players accountable for unacceptable production. A coach that will chew some butts and demand respect. No icecream parties for Coach Cowher.

We need a guy who has had success and failure as a HC in my opinion. No more coordinators or assistants.

No big name coaches will come here, but someone like Mike Smith would.

Bill Cowher isn't going to come out of retirement to coach for Jacksonville.

I'm not sure who I'd like to see tbh.  Someone who knows a bit about both sides of the ball.

I was wrong about Trent Baalke.

Sean Payton might...  If we pay him enough...  We have serious weapons on offense...  Saint's lost again today...  If he's fired, we gotta go after him...

I'm sure if Khan is determined to win, which I believe he is, he would open up the book for a PROVEN commodity.

I was never convinced that Payton was really that good of a coach, but at this point, I'd let my mom coach the team over Gus, so lets get him!

Wouldn't mind Smith coming back to Jax. Didn't want to see him go to Atl to begin with.

Yeah, but the Saint's losing again has me concerned about how good Sean Payton really is.

How about Pagano if the rift between him and GM is for real?
