Miami at FSU Game Thread

Bound to be one! Looking forward to this rivalry game. Thoughts on Cook. Does he play? If so, will he be near 100% Hamstrings are a tough one for RB's.

I think even if Cook is out, or limited FSU still wins the game.

The practice report from yesterday said cook participated with no issues. I still have my doubts as to wether he puts in a full game. I think they lose either way. The FSU offense has looked rough with the lone bright spot being cook. I think Golson still doesn't understand the offense. He is slow to make decisions and misses open receivers down the field. Receivers and o-line have been inconsistent this year. The defense has played better than expected. I think they are still untested in pass defense. So, it will be interesting to see how they handle Kaaya. I know miami is down, but they still have athletes that can run with FSU. Hope it's an entertaining game.

I disagree, without Cook FSU will have alot of trouble.

I cannot disagree with that. Noles have been on the edge of losing all season and we don't have Jameis to make remarkable come backs at the end. We need Cooks. He is our offense.

I agree with this, and even if Cook plays, I worry how effective he'll be if his hamstring is slightly bugging him.  I see my Noles struggling offensively in this game.  Hopefully the defense shows up.

And that doesn't surprise me in the least. What miami fan would hope they would lose in their biggest rivalry game?

Maybe you are the opposite of a fan? You hope all your teams lose.

I heard something about some FSU people collecting money to fly a  "Keep Al" banner.

FSU's D has shined, but that offense is in real trouble should anything happen to Cook.
Only a chump boos the home team!

You're stuck with him for a while I'm afraid.

They've been the bright spot, but they haven't exactly played any offensive powerhouses.

If Florida State loses (with or without Cook) how far would you expect them to drop in the rankings?

I will root for FSU because I hate Miami.

As terrible as that slob is, you can't be hoping for a loss against an in state rival like that.

With fans like that, who needs rivalries?
Coughlin when asked if winning will be a focus: "What the hell else is there? This is nice and dandy, but winning is what all this is about."
