Bortles
|
He's been a real solid fantasy play this year. Top 10 in total points in my yahoo leave and 11th in a standard ESPN. Yet Yahoo still says they wouldn't recommend him as a pick up.
I have him as a Big Ben replacement and a Tannehill replacement and it's working out great so far.
IT WAS ALWAYS THE JAGS

Ya I can understand not having him as plan A, but he is a solid backup option.
He's my main option in one of my ten man leagues. People went insane with QBs in the draft (one dude drafted Rodgers, P Manning and Rivers), to the point where I ended up waiting until round 14 since everyone was gone and Flacco was my best option. I ended up dumping him before the season and switched to Bortles. I'm actually the only one without at least 2 QBs, and there's at least 3 or 4 people with 3 of them.
My only loss was week 1, and had he hit his average I would have won that one.
Yahoo (roto?) absolutely ripped him today after he threw for 4 TDs...
"Bad reads and skittish in the pocket... Low end streaming option against Houston" Not sure how that can't be considered biased from a fantasy perspective. He will probably win me two games this week.
rotoworld literally hates Bortles so much it's weird. don't pay attention to them.

Buffalo QB Tyrod Talylor has produced tons of fantasy points and I have Blake as my number 2.
I had Big Ben as my starter. Bortles was taken late as a homer pick for my backup. Haven't lost yet with him starting.

Who thought we would ever hear this phrase?

Convinced Rotoworld doesn't pay attention to anything Jags related but some numbers and media hate
"He will be worth a streaming look at home against the bills next week."
IT WAS ALWAYS THE JAGS
Quote:Convinced Rotoworld doesn't pay attention to anything Jags related but some numbers and media hate To be fair why would anyone associated with yahoo know about the yahoo stream of the game this weekend?
I heard one billion people could potentially watch the game streaming Yahoo, but I doubt the world has that many Bills fans.
