The opening line has this game pretty much a "pick-em".  The line is at -1.10 for the Jaguars.  In other words, take the final score by the Jaguars and subtract 1.10.  If the Jaguars have more points a bet for them wins.  If not, then a bet on the Texans wins.

Over/Under for the game is 42.5 (sound familiar?).

Hoping that we get some players back from injury and the fact that we play at home, I pick the Jaguars to win this one.  I would also go with the over.

If Myers had just made one FG we would be tied for first place in the division right now. So so so unfortunate.

I have the worst feeling about this team right now, but honestly, a win would put them right back in it with the Colts about to lose to New England.

A loss would also push us towards a higher draft pick Smile AGAIN

Hopkins is going to be wide open and shred our soft zone. Foster is going to abuse all these poor angles and "tackle" attempts. Watt will have 4 sacks, Clowney 3 and we lose. Remember, if you lose to the Jags then the HC gets fired. Not sure BOB is ready to throw in the towel, Texans win convincingly

Because of injuries, Henne and Gerhart starting.   It's going to be one ugly game.

I also agree...

and I find it dishearteningly founded on the reality of what we've been observing.

If Henne and Gerhart start it isn't even worth watching.

I nominate this for one of the dumbest responses ever.

In all honesty, if that were the case, i'd make other plans.

Oh God, it's early 2014 all over again.

I survived the Gus Bradley Error.

The texans might score 42 points on their own on this defense.

Interesting that the line has moved to have the Jags favored to win the first time this season.

The lines that I watch don't show much change.  Where are you looking?

Idk what ESPN uses but their initial lines had Houston by 2
IT WAS ALWAYS THE JAGS

ESPN logic:

Jags beat Miami, move down in power rankings

Jags lose horribly to NE, move up in PR

Jags lose to TB, get favored to beat a team TB lost to.
IT WAS ALWAYS THE JAGS

over....

even if our D is better than last game, I imagine they still get 20+

if our O performs for 4 quarters, there's no way we score less than 23

Those odds are pretty much the same as the opening line that I posted.  I don't see any movement and I don't see either team really being favored.
