Close, but not in my top-5.

Smith - He is slightly behind Stanley in my top 5, could go either way.

Hargreaves - Plays smaller than his 5-11 frame, gets pushed around by big receivers (not very physical), and doesn't possess elite speed.

Treadwell - I would rather attack needs before depth.

Are you kidding me that Hargreaves gets pushed around and isn't very physical?  He's about as physical and good in run support as a corner can possibly get.  He's at the high end of elite in that.  He plays much bigger than his 5-11 frame.  Now if you want to knock him for being too small and playing that way which leads to a lot of nagging injuries, sure.  Or he's too short to consistently cover jump balls in the red zone, fine.  But get out of here with not physical and pushed around.

On a different note, I think that if someone is looking for a player like Treadwell, Demarcus Robinson is very, very similar and can be had in the second round most likely.  They are remarkably similar - size, speed, route running, hands, and run after catch ability.  Robinson will be a player that is better in the pro's than in college.

Your entitled to your opinion; I just don't agree.  I agree he is terrible at comeback routes; that is where opposing receivers get a majority of their yards.  I love the kid, but I love the Jaguars.  Watching almost every game he has played in college, I wouldn't draft him as high as we will most likely be drafting. He can be very physical in run support but he can't tackle worth a damn.  He can also be very physical before the snap in press man.  The coverage skills are off the chart.  But like I said he doesn't have elite speed, watch LSU's punter outrun him on Saturday.  Despite being physical in run support, etc, he plays smaller than his 5'11" frame suggests.

I will say that I am very much in the majority in my opinion.  The following are listed as his weaknesses on various draft profiles such as ESPN, CBS, etc..... "plays smaller than his frame suggests", "too easily gets shoved off balance at times", "Needs to get stronger in upper body . . . Not a physical defender . . . Dives at legs or grabs onto shirttails rather than wrapping up and using good tackling form", "The only flaws in Hargreaves' game are that he can get pushed around by bigger receivers on 50-50 passes and he may not have the most deep speed", "lacks physicality at point of attack"...

Haha. Use your eyes and don't rely on what the websites and "experts" write.

For every source you cite that he isn't physical or a bad tackler, I can find one that says the exact opposite... Sometimes from the very same writer. Rob Rang, for example, has flip flopped multiple times regarding this same topic. One month it's he's overrated, too small, and can't tackle and the next it's Rob Rang says VH3 is a physical corner with all the tools to be good in coverage and run support.

Every year there are "experts" who claim Marqise Goodwin is too slow or JJ Watt is poor at pass rushing. It's comical.

I honestly have no idea what you are looking at for us to have such polar opinions about a specific trait.

I'd argue that needs drafting is what has gotten us in this mess. BAP all day, every day. Whether it's a lineman, a defensive pass rusher, a corner, or Treadwell...just take it and don't look back. You can always trade players if you get a surplus and that's a great problem to have which we haven't had in a very long time.

We need pass rush. I feel like a parrot. I say this every year for 20 years.

DE and OLB first 2 picks. No matter what defense we are running

Anyone in the secondary. I bolster my pass rush through free agency and Fowler Jr.

THERE IS A SKELETON INSIDE OF YOU.

RIGHT NOW. THIS IS NOT A JOKE.
