Yup, maybe Cincy's patience pays off. But really, for the team they have now, the window is closing on alot of their roster. The defense in particular is getting a little "long in the tooth" (Adam Jones, Reggie Nelson, Leon Hall, Domata Peko, Geno Atkins, Carlos Dunlap, Ray Mauluga). All those guys are coming near or at the backside of their careers. Also on the offense,, Andrew Whitworth and Andre Smith are veterans that may be tough to keep for much longer.

The Bengals patience needs to payoff for them soon. Or else, alot of their young key offensive guys (Green, Dalton, Jones, Sanu, Eifert, Hill, Bernard) will have to "cash in" later with almost a completely different defensive roster and offensive tackles.

The time is now (this and next season) for them.

Yes, but they also have time to keep building while they are good. I'm not saying they are the model for success, simply showing where patience paid off. I can tell you the loud minority here would have been calling for Daltons head a long time ago if he was on the Jags.

the real question is would you take Dalton or Bridgewater? Dalton is considered qb purgatory. Teddy is not and considered better by some!!!

Lol. It is not even a question, Dalton>=Bortles>/Carr>The other rookie and year 2 Qbs. Mariota is making a case, but I need to see more. Andy Danlton may not win in the post season, but at least he gets his team to and plays in them. I would take 1 and dones over the last 7 years in comparison to what we have gotten. At least you could say your team had a shot every year to get hot and win a title, over being a 7 year long dumpster fire.
