I complained about this in Amelia's TV coverage thread. There is no excuse for not showing our London game on TV anywhere except Jacksonville and Buffalo.

How is the game in London any different than any other game on television?

Obviously the fact that it is not on television. It is the first game in NFL history to be shown live on the Internet.

Actually live games have been streamed online, even through yahoo services, for over a decade, just not in the US. It will however be the first game streamed live over the internet in the US.

It's just nice to see a neutral playing field where people thousands of miles away pack in a place to see a sport that isn't very popular outside of North America.

Meh. Semantics.

I'm trying to make myself more informed and less opinionated.

Stop saying whatever stupid thing you're talking about and pay attention to all the interesting things I have to say!

The super bowl has been streamed live before. Legally.

Yeah and now that I think about it the Sunday night games used to also be streamed on NFL.com when it first came to NBC...I'm not sure if they still do it.

Direct TV is toast what this means. Even cable as far as other games. The internet will be the only way to watch anything soon.

This game is just a test run. Direct TV will be the one that suffers the most.

Hopefully this live stream will actually work. I'm expecting it to not work well and I have to miss parts of the game. No reason for them no also showing it on nflst.
