I'm trying to make myself more informed and less opinionated.

Stop saying whatever stupid thing you're talking about and pay attention to all the interesting things I have to say!

Saw this on the news yesterday.  It does seem to suggest that the pitchfork crew exist in a lower ratio in the real world. 

That's usually the case that there's a vocal minority that has convinced themselves that what they think is shared by the majority.  Rarely is that true.  People aren't happy with the situation right now, but the majority are continuing to maintain the hope that this is going to get better after all the struggles.

So... They called 630 people who called themselves "jags fans". Red flag right there, but whatever...


Of these 630 so called jags fans, only 29% are season ticket holders. And they say the margin for error is only 4%?


I would say the margin of error is about 70%, lol


What I would like to know is how many of the season ticket holders have confidence in Bradley.... But I think I have a pretty good idea of that.

The clock started when we got Blake. For Dave and Gus, imo.

 

I'm not saying the coaching issues aren't there. Clock management and play-calling/role questions.

But those things can be corrected easier than a Quarterbacks throwing mechanics.

 

Gus' first year was a Gabbert Henne roster blow up year.

And while the next season didn't net any more wins, that was when the young roster excuse was real. It was legit. As evidenced by our many starters drafted that year and the year before.

 

And youth and injuries have been a clinging excuse for many fans this year when an angry bunch started calling for heads to roll. But as the roster gets healthy and we see with our very own eyes what this offense is capable of, at times, in spite of issues the excuses have to fade.

Wins need to come. This season... and I'm thinking at least 4 more to save Gus. I think it can be done. I think it will be done. And I think if it is done, every critical fan should step back and give the Gus bus another year to roll, to grow....

 

Yeah 9-30 is ugly to look at. And it is historically bad.

But we had a historically bad GM before Gus got here. Not a lot to work with and going from the ground up is a little transcendent of how the NFL usually rolls.

so let's say Gus goes from 3 to 6 or 7, and then in year 4 (but Blake's year 3) well, the trend is up for sure....it is real improvement people don't want to admit to.

The roster was really really bad, not that long ago.

for the most part I agree and the other thing is statistics don't tell the whole story...It's funny how when they first hired Caldwell, Khan, Caldwell nd Gus told everyone this would be a long rebuilding process...He (caldwell) even said it might get worse before it gets better (paraphrasing)...The majority of the board were ok with that until 2 years later citing lack of wins and ready to fire everyone...Everyone was told this would be a long process..2.5 years isn't long

Gus is 2-5 and 1 game out from the division lead. Lots of winnable games left. If we win 5 out of 9 and 1 of them is against the colts at home then we will win the division.


We have two games against the titans. 1 against the ravens. We play HOU again. We might trap the Jets. You never know......

No, 5-18 still feels crappy, even we finish 10-22, you say that's nothing to be proud of.

But it's the improvement from historically bad to division competitive in 3 years of getting your franchise QB.

 

Not terrible if you ask me. And if you're seriously challenging for the division title or more in the 3rd year of your franchise QB (2016 season for us) the numbers before that season really don't matter at all. 

 

But.... the improvement has to continue... it has slowly gone from blowout losses to losing close ones, to winning close ones....

we definatley can make the playoffs this year.

and if we do.... we could make it past the first round as well....

second round probably not....

idk though...last week was the first game we saw signs of what were capable of and that was without a pass rush from the front 4.

if marks gets rolling....we could see whole games like the first half against buffalo....

and if we do.....we can realistically beat anyone in the nfl.... and atleast make an afc champ. game with new england close
