Before you crucify the kid here is the legal definition for OVI in Ohio. http://dui.drivinglaws.org/ohio.php
For a person under the age of 21 it is a BAC of .02% which is roughly equivalent to 1 drink. Should he have done it, no but let's be honest who among has not driven after a drink or even two with dinner?

I get the impression it's more about Urban and his punishment or lack thereof. Quote:I had a friend killed in high school by someone who was barely over the limit. Was it a result of the alcohol or an accident that couldn't have been avoided either way? And sorry to hear that. Quote:So are you "less dead" when someone barely over the limit runs into you?.......Just curious Well you can be right at or under the limit and still it doesn't make someone less dead. The whole alcohol/drinking and driving thing is full of way too much grey. I mean, people go out at bars and you see majority driving their cars and parking. Don't drink and drive though we encourage you to come drink at our bar and want everyone to get a taxi though there aren't enough of them to meet the demands of all the people who would need one. Make public transportation a priority than you'll greatly effect drinking and driving numbers (I wonder how many DUI's new yorkers have, the city of course). I do think Uber and Lift have to be making a big impact which is good. |
