Keenan Allen is going to miss the remainder of the regular season.   Hopefully,  he will make a full recovery.   From a football standpoint,  Allen is a major building block for the Chargers.

Considering the Chargers injuries this season,   HC Mike McCoy probably deserves to remain their HC in 2016 regardless of whether the franchise is still in San Diego.

With our luck this season, Drew Brees and Matt Ryan will both get injured before we have to play them. I mean, look at our schedule now

Jets - Both Fitzpatrick and Geno Smith hurt

Ravens - Steve Smith out for the year

Titans - Mariota hurt and they just fired their head coach. Mike Mularkey is coaching them!

Chargers - Keenan Allen out for the year

Titans again

Colts - Andrew Luck is either injured or just playing awfully

Falcons

Saints

Texans - Arian Foster out for the year

By the time we play against the Titans, Mariota will be healthy. Luck is not injured, just playing bad.

And we'll win two of those games. Maybe.

The Jaguars will find a way to have a losing record on that stretch.

If you backtrack the games we've already played and the injuries of our opponents, this truly has been a season when the stars aligned.  We just suck too much to have done anything about it.

It started in week one. Carolina loses it's best defender and somehow our offense got worse.

So our offense was better against Luke Kuechly than his backup? It was bad all day. The whole Panthers defense shut us down.

For some reason we have a trend of playing better in the first half than the second half. It has nothing to do with anyone getting hurt inside of the two-minute warning.

<p class="">Chargers officially placed WR Keenan Allen, RB Branden Oliver and LB Tourek Williams on season-ending IR.

This sucks for him and me as far as Fantasy Football.  Hopefully he makes a full recovery.

Wrong on both counts.

I had Keenan on my FF team in 2013 as a rookie, and he won me a couple games.

That's because the opposing team is making adjustments to what the Jags are successfully doing in the first half and are taking it away in the second half.

This is one of the biggest problems with Gus as HC. He has not really been able to adjust back after the other teams takes away what worked in the first half, and that's why the Jags seem to struggle in the 2nd half and have a hard time scoring a TD.

If he is ever able to figure out what the opposing team is doing in the 2nd half and adjust to that, both on offense and defense, then the Jags will actually have a much better chance of actually looking better in the 2nd half and even winning some games, especially against teams that are not very good.

Although,at this time he just doesn't stand much of a chance against the better teams/HCs in the league.

I survived the Gus Bradley Error.

Is this considered a freak injury?

You don't hear about lacerated organs every day. I'm surprised they just thought he got the wind knocked out at first because you could see he was in severe pain right away.

Luck HAS been injured, is NOW healthy...

not sure it will fix him playing bad.

That is the NFL.  Everyone and every team suffers injuries.  Sometime the healthiest make long runs into the playoffs.  Sometimes the ones with the least amount of injuries (Jaguars actually) won't take advantage of their opportunities. Gus and his gang of ice cream socialites are unlikely to take advantage of the schedule.

We kind of took advantage of the Bills injuries.
