Quote:Maybe I am being naive but I see it similar to when Harbaugh went to San Francisco or Arians went to Arizona. There is raw talent here. They just need a coach that maximize it.

For once I agree with you.

Jacksonville Jaguars tanking since 2011...  And we're darn good at it too!

Am I crazy or were most of these guys bagging on us for wanting Gus gone?

I mean its not all Head Coach Gus Bradley's fault, I mean OC Olsen is simply average to slightly below.. but the defense to be this bad which was hand picked by Gus...

that is what makes me think he should be fired...

Owner already said he wont though...

so who knows if the team finishes 4-12 maybe he will ... but he might not.

9 wins , 31 losses, .225%

Hard to support a record like that... really hard...

Oh...they have seen the light.  This was a painful loss yesterday. I think everyone now knows Gus is not fit for this job...well, except for Leopold.  I know for a fact coaching would fix Bortles turnover problem.  I was so upset yesterday, it was finally the breaking point when Bortles threw the final interception.

Me? No. I advocated firing him last year.

The sad  thing is we are still performing like we were before he has arrived.  Maybe worse.

The offense is clearly better but the defense might actually be worse somehow.

I wonder if Khan would just offer Cowher a really nice salary and throw in a state of the art chin reconstructive surgery, he might budge..

I said it... Blake had a few bad plays yesterday. You want to know why? Because he's always trying to make something happen. This team constantly flops on both special teams and defense.. Blake needs to learn to throw it away in the right situations, but you can't blame the guy for extending plays when you look and the constant woes and overall instability of this team.

Blake wants to WIN. he doesn't want to be a loser. I can't believe how many people I've seen on this board blaming the loss on his turnovers. The defense had PLENTY of opportunities to make a play, and didn't (i.e Sergio's dropped pick, missed fumble recovery) But you're going to blame Blake? Wow. He does have a turnover issue, but it's not why we lost yesterday. We lost yesterday because of poor coaching, something this team has been subjected to ever since Bradley was given the HC job

Fire this clown. He is in no way, shape or form fit to be an NFL head coach. Bradley simply has to go, had we started the year with a better HC and kicker we'd be sitting 4-4

Oh, and also, the officiating was some of the worst I have ever seen in my life

we had a chance to win. he played well the previous series. and he forced the ball on first down. with plenty of time left. sure the muffed punt was horrible but the fact of the matter is, we had a chance to win and he blew it. big time. horribe horrible decision. but outside of that he played well. we needed that win though. hes had like 4 pick 6s this season iirc. so yes the biggest concern is his turnovers.

No, that's exactly why we lost yesterday. I'm not mad about it though since it's just a part of Bortles' growth as a QB and I expect him to take his lumps now and again. Blake's the reason we were in the game until the very end, but he's also the reason we lost.

Yea you cant really blame blake so much. The Coaching is soooooooo bad, and i fear we will have another season next year with Gus.

Coaching wasn't the issue yesterday.

29.4 points per game given up.....28.2 ppg in games Gus Bradley coaches. Yes, he's a defensive guru. No, he's a cheerleader.

How 'bout that Mularkey. Gets his lousy team to beat the Saints..in Nawlins. I know, one game...but is it temporary that teams that have recently did some coaching changes have played better? Fins, Colts...just gave Denver their first loss, Titans looked like a new team yesterday.  The players like Gus. I like his enthusiasm. But man, his record would have him canned in most teams. The question is...will 4 wins this year get him fired? Thats a pretty dismal record considering the team should have improved along with a weak schedule?
