But seriously, what metrics am I ignoring? I think most people would agree those are the important metrics for a QB, but apparently there are some that I'm 'cherry picking'? I'm willing to be persuaded by a convincing argument and good reason.

To me, it's easy to put BB5 in that 3rd tier of QBs.  He's not Elite, but he's clearly above average.

 

1st tier are the HOF caliber QBs.  Your Brady's and Rodgers.  Top of their game, and clearly gonna be in Canton.

BB5 is slightly ahead, just even, or slightly behind players like Flacco, Cutler, Stafford, and even Matt Ryan...  Yeah, Matt Ryan is having a really good year this year, but he looked terrible the last 2 years.

To me, BB5 is the definition of 3rd tier.  With just a little more help (coaching, defense, O-line) we'd have a winning record.  And I'm not even saying he needs ALOT of help.  Just a little bit.  A FG here against the clots.  A punt return that doesn't go back to the house against the Bucs, an offensive Pass Interference call to negate Hopkin's TD against the tinhorns, not miffing a punt against the Jets, and we're 5-2.

 

I don't think you're giving  BB5 enough credit...  Yes, he makes mistakes.  Probably 2 or 3 per game.  But he keeps us in games, and has us in positions to win in EVERY SINGLE GAME.  If he would have had just the slightest bit of help from the defense and special teams, we'd be 5-2.  No doubt in my mind.

Yeah, but he claims to be getting his PhD in the Philosophy of Science.  That's what he said...  I don't know if there truelly is such a discipline.  And if so, I'm not sure he's gonna be a leader of anything important.  Not to mention the fact that based on how he conducts himself as a troll, I'm not sure he'd ever get his dissertation through the process.  There's alot of peer and mentor review to get your dissertation approved...
