I still think 6-10 is the realistic expectation/goal. 8-8 isn't out of the question. But 6-10? I'll take it and not be horribly disappointed. I originally thought 9-7 could be an optimistic reach of a possibility entering the season.

i wouldn't mind being wrong if it means Jags getting more wins then what i said before season started. we have six games left,and are 4-6 now. I stilll think 6-10 is realisticc. SD is still a good team. we play road games to finesh off the season.

lol no they're not. They're 2-7 and 26th in DVOA. That organization is a complete mess right now. 

 

Honestly right now I'd consider finishing 6-10 a disappointment which is not something I would have ever thought before the Ravens win. There's not a single good team left on the schedule. We've got:

 

vs. San Diego (26th in DVOA)

@ Tennessee (28th)

vs. Indianapolis (21st)

vs. Atlanta (18th)

@ New Orleans (29th)

@ Houston (27th)

 

For reference we were 23rd before the Tennessee win. 3-3 is very very achievable and IMO should be the expectation.

@tittians they play us tough yet again,but Jags bounce back after tough loss to SD,and win.   move to 5-7 

 

Vs colts Jags get a little pay back againest colts,and win at home again.  moves up to 6-7 

 

vs Falcons in playoff race,jags still in playoff race. good game ,but jags can't finesh the game,and lose drop to 6-8

 

@ Saints Jags have very very bad game ,and get beat pretty bad by saints drops them to 6-9 

 

@texans Jags bounce back from very tough loss,give Texans a big channlagge but end up loseing the game lte in forth qtr due to crtial mistakes. Jags end with losee. dropping them to 6-10

 

now i wouldn't  mind at all if jags did better,and i was completly wrong.

I stand by my preseason expectations. As some others have said, 6-10 and I won't be disappointed with what I've seen this year. I figured 6-10 at worst for the season to be a "success," with 7-8 wins possible if things roll out way, and 9-7 beyond a miracle season. We should definitely be in that range now. Sorry of a complete collapse now, deep pure sound of the frustration, this season has been quite positive.

Lets be honest. Most expected 6 - 10 to be an improved season at the beginning of the year, but expectations can and should have changed based on the weakness of the division and the exponentially improved offense. Less than 8 wins is a failure in my eyes.
