Somebody has to do it.


Sitting in the exam room with a hole in my face waiting to see if the first pass comes up clean. Getting Mohs surgery. They basically go a thin layer at a time until they hit 'clean' tissue. At least I have my phone to play with while I wait the 30-45 minutes.

In honor of Rico Dumbesa having a successful surgery, I got up early today to start on a prethanksgiving dinner.


That, or I did it 'cause my mom is in town.
I'm trying to make myself more informed and less opinionated.

Man...kinda early to start eating already.  

 

You know...surprisingly...it doesn't smell very good when they cauterize blood vessels.

Speaking of which...I hope my jaw feels better by turkey-time tomorrow.  Chewing is not exactly pleasant right now.  Smiling and laughing are right up there on 'things not to do' as well.

 

Perhaps I should have thought this out a little better before I picked my surgery date.

 

Maybe I'll just stick to a liquid diet.   Banana
