Quote:I don't get it either. They are dropping into coverage EVERY SINGLE REDZONE DOWN. Why not run it with Yeldon right up the middle? #BecauseGus We show less advertisements to registered users. He doesn't make mistakes and can catch the ball out the backfield, but he's nothing special.. And I'm sure if we ran the ball 3 times straight he would be tackled behind the line of scrimmage at least twice..

Bortles went past the line of scrimmage again, but the Jaguars could only muster a 30-yard field goal, after the Julius Thomas 34 yard pass play! Chargers still lead 21-12.
Quote:How can we be this bad in the red zone with so many good play makers? The QB is bad in the redzone
San Diego is not as bad as their record indicates and they DO have a franchise QB. The Jags aren't as good as their record indicates and they DON'T have a frnachise QB. (not really). A franchise QB gets in the end zone more than they don't when inside the red zone. Did they even consider handing it to TJ?
In other news its been an all FG game in Indy.

Quote:why do we NEVER run Yeldon in the red zone?!!??! obviously passing 3 times isn't working Why would the team run Yeldon if neither Gerhart nor Shoelace can score after running 3-4 times in a row? You think Yeldon's any better than those guys? Quote:Does he think they wouldn't notice it the second time???? Gus Bradley taking that Seahawks Defense Mentality with him: "If we commit a penalty every play, the refs won't call it every time." :teehee:

Why not run it with Yeldon right up the middle? He's too small? Other than that I know of no good excuses. Maybe he's fumble prone, gets too may negative plays, doesn't know the offense, can't pass protect, or is a rookie? Quote:Because Yeldon is an avg RB.. He doesn't make mistakes and can catch the ball out the backfield, but he's is nothing special.. And I'm sure if we ran the ball 3 times straight he would be tackled behind the line of scrimmage at least twice..ok, but what we are doing obviously is working so much better.... smh We show less advertisements to registered users. Twice now the LOS was the 7 and he threw from the 5. I get it though... he's doing everything he can to score. He's just not making quick.enough decisions. Indecisiveness is a huge problem with BB. he needs to make the decision to run or throw much quicker. Tuck it and run Bortles,, Damm!
