I'll pull for the Gators...but I highly doubt they're going to win.

Quote:Alright lads and gents, on Nov 30th FSU will travel down to Gainesville to take on the Gators. Despite what has happened with UF this season, it is the BEST rivarly in CFB hands down.

Im leaving my family up north early to travel back to JIA to make it to the game on Saturday.

The top 3 games (in my lifetime) between the Noles and Gators are:

1. 2003 FSU 38 UF 34- Ill never forget Rix hitting PK for the GW TD, I snuck over to my buddies dorm in Landis Hall and we broke a couple of beers from being so excited, then of course the fight after the game.

2. Choke at Doak in 94 Tie game- Watching this game I thought FSU could never come back and sure they did. I didnt know at the time college games ended in ties, but to me I always look at that like a win.

3. 2010- Fish's first win vs. UF.

What are some of yalls most memorable games in this rivarly?

Let the bashing begin, and remember, if anyone posts anything to get themselves a warning or banned just blame it on the alcohol.

The 31-31 tie is definitely a classic.  My friend and I decided to go outside and play catch at halftime thinking, "We got this.  Gators won."  We were listening on the radio while playing catch and then we hear about Warrick Dunn running free.  We don't dropped what we were doing and ran back inside.

Another good memory for me is in 1997.  "The greatest game ever played in the swamp."  FSU was #1.  Spurrier shocked the nation with his two QB system with Doug Johnson and Noah "Canadian Bacon" Brindise.  That system worked.  The biggest play was to Jaquez GReen down the sideline and then Fred Taylor had a couple huge plays.  Thad Busby then threw an INT on the ensuing drive.

This year is just a lost year for UF.  The team seems like it has quit on the coaching staff.  Although I think UF players will give everything in the rivalry game.  If Winston gets charged and is suspended this week, that will make the game very different.

If charges come, it will probably be after the game next week...they've waited this long to do anything...what's another few days if it means they can beat Florida.

It'll have nothing to do with that. If they haven't charged him yet, then IMO they are having trouble making a strong case against him. The game wouldn't be close, with or without Winston. And that isn't being cocky, the gators are just that bad.

We are that bad...but do you really think they were working on the case all this time, or do you think they kicked into high gear once the media got involved? Because if they just tested his DNA...you can't think they were "actively" pursuing anything on the case.

It depends if the stories are true about this girl. That she was upset about Jameis having a girlfriend and being the f buddy. That she knew Jameis beforehand and didn't initially say it was him and that is why we have report that perputrator is 5'9''-5'11''. That there are pictures of her before and after with Jameis and a picture of her and her roommate one week afterwards smiling right before she went to the FSU game to go cheer on the Noles (and essentially Jameis). That she stopped responding to police not because she was scared of the spotlight, but because she knows it was consensual and wanted it to go away. That her family especially her aunt is pushing this case. That her lawyer said she was drunk when toxicology report showed she wasn't. That she had a twitter name FSUcleatchasers. That her roommates testimony sides with Jameis story. All of that doesn't mean she wasn't raped, but if true (and I do mean if), it would seriously raise a ton a questions about her lieing. Oh and let's not forget her lawyer graduated from florida Smile.

Well, they were pursuing the case. They tried to reach her for 2 months. She stopped responding.

Anyways, I guess I'll make my prediction.

FSU-45

UF-0

The only way I can see Florida scoring is on defense or special teams.

The above score will be prior to the Noles putting in their 2nd string.

Lol I am a huge Gator fan who is expecting us to get spanked, but you WAY overrate your defense if you think you are gonna shut us out.  Kelvin Taylor is too damn good for us not to even score once.  Y'all will win, probably handily, but its not gonna be anything to zero.

Have you seen our defense this year? We held Clemson's lethal offense to 7 points until their was 14 seconds left in Clemson. Florida has a high school offense. We can load the box because Florida's crappy receivers aren't a threat.

A shut out is very possible.

I have, and I will say it again, you will not shut us out, 99% sure of that.  I am actually watching y'alls Idaho game right now, Fowler and Powell may actually have a field day on your offensive line, Idaho is getting consistent hits and pressure on Winston.  Again, I think the score even being close is a stretch in this game, but I see Kelvin Taylor running one in, or Patton taking a kickoff back, something like that, at least.
