Mark Richt, Head Coach, UGA dismissed

Per several sources on the Twitter machine.
I'm trying to make myself more informed and less opinionated.

ESPN is reporting it now.

Quote:I wonder if he will have any interest in the miami(fl) job? He's from Boca and went to Miami...It's probably a good possibility. Although I'm thinking, with his big mouth and cocky attitude, Lane Kiffen would be a good fit for UM too.
What in the Wide Wide World of Sports is agoin' on here???

Quote:A few years overdue. Yep, he has sucked even during Georgia's best years. Crazy how everybody was talking about Les Miles when Mark Richt had a much worse season.
Does anybody here listen to "The Audible" podcast? It's pretty good if you like college ball talk. Bruce Feldman suggested Richt would retire from coaching and do mission work.

Bad move by georgia No one has done less with more than Mark Richt. Georgia needs to head in a new direction.

That was a big reason the Bulldogs sucked on offense. We show less advertisements to registered users. Accounts are free; join today! Quote:I agree Georgia needed to get rid of him, but don't forget they lost their only good running back. That was a big reason the Bulldogs sucked on offense. Their only good running back? Sonny Michel says hello... Richt's dismissal had nothing to do with Chubb's injury...it was the year in, year out inability to win the big games.

The South Carolina job seems like a perfect fit for Richt. He could still recruit in Georgia and the Gamecocks would love 10 win seasons. It would also further the rivalry with Georgia.

Did you watch the Florida/Georgia game? I did, and Sonny Michel did not impress me at all It looked to me like the Bulldogs had almost no running game. Michel could have improved since then but I would not know without watching games. I am not saying Nick Chubb's injury had anything to do with Mark Richt losing his job. Failure to have much of a running game behind him certainly did.

Mark Richt just got the Miami job, which is even more perfect for him because he used to be their quarterback. http://www.nfl.com/news/story/0ap3000000...s-head-job We show less advertisements to registered users.
