LOL -- $25 million doesn't get you what it used to.
I was kind of hoping he'd sign another long term contract w/ the Lakers Yo Give Me The Ball -- I'm Feelin' It !! https://vine.co/v/elZb5gTie1n Check out Lakers #6 Jordan Clarkson (on the right) after the shot goes up.... Time for him to retire. Manning too.

5 Rings
3rd all time in points. Honestly shouldn't even pay attention to this year. The hate is real.
Yep, I can't stand him.
Ball hog, gunner, and the ultimate me-me-me player. Couldn't stand sharing billing with Shaq when he was in LA. Not to mention his off-the-court antics. What's not to love? ![]()
Quote:Yep, I can't stand him.Ball hog with 5 rings. Gunner with 5 rings... He cheated on his wife...... what percentage of athletes don't? You'd be surprised. Oh yeah 5 rings... Ultimate competitor, driven to be great, work ethic is bar none. No, hes not a choir boy. But who roots for choir boys anyway? Quote:Ball hog with 5 rings. To each their own. I've never liked him. Glad you do. ![]() We show less advertisements to registered users. Accounts are free; join today! Quote:5 Rings He's a real good player. He's still missed more shots than anyone in history. 3rd in points but 11th in PPG. He's not even in the top 250 in FG% that I could find. I don't think he's even close. It's not hard to score a lot when you shoot a lot. He gets mentioned with the likes of Jordan but he's not on that level. I'd say the next level down, maybe even two. Quote:He's a real good player. Epitome of a one-dimensional player. ![]()
Quote:Epitome of a one-dimensional player.Hate to disagree with this one as well. But I will.. 9-time All Defensive NBA 1st team. Tied for most in NBA history with MJ, Garnett, and the Glove. http://www.landofbasketball.com/awards/a...er_1st.htm

Quote:Lakers @ Philly !!!I'll take Philly. LA is the favorite in Vegas though

Kobe's only goal this season is to add to his all time points total, that's it.
Expect to see a whole lot of bricks from now until the end of Kobe's season, whenever that might be.
I survived the Gus Bradley Error.

Quote:Kobe's only goal this season is to add to his all time points total, that's it. This is so true. D'Angelo Russell must be hatin' life this year. Make me laugh because we all had That Guy in the playground that put up shots regardless of how covered or how bad he was. Right now, Kobe is That Guy.
I always appreciated Kobe for his ability to be able to seemingly lift his level of play above that of everyone else on an almost As Needed basis. He could be going along, being a dominant factor in the game, then Bam! It almost seemed like he flipped a switch and took his abilities to a higher level.
That being said, he's such a brooding loner that has never figured out how to integrate himself into a team that it severely hampered his career. Even when you look at the numbers he produced and the accomplishments he had, there was so much more that he could have done if he had found a way to fit himself into a team. Those Shag - Kobe L A teams were as good of an NBA team as maybe ever. They went through the entire 2001 NBA Playoff season only losing one game. One!!! Who does that?! So yes, he's a great player but he will be forever tainted by his inabilities rather than his accomplishments in my mind.
I'm trying to make myself more informed and less opinionated.
Stop saying whatever stupid thing you're talking about and pay attention to all the interesting things I have to say! |
