Maybe not recently in the last 5-9 years but overall in terms of top ranked teams meeting at the end of the season with a possible BCS or NC game apperance on the line, FSU/UF rivalry has that.

 

Two top-ranked teams since when? 1996? That is the only year I know they were ranked #1 and #2 the same season.

It depends if the stories are true about this girl. That she was upset about Jameis having a girlfriend and being the f buddy. That she knew Jameis beforehand and didn't initially say it was him and that is why we have report that perputrator is 5'9''-5'11''. That there are pictures of her before and after with Jameis and a picture of her and her roommate one week afterwards smiling right before she went to the FSU game to go cheer on the Noles (and essentially Jameis). That she stopped responding to police not because she was scared of the spotlight, but because she knows it was consensual and wanted it to go away. That her family especially her aunt is pushing this case. That her lawyer said she was drunk when toxicology report showed she wasn't. That she had a twitter name FSUcleatchasers. That her roommates testimony sides with Jameis story. All of that doesn't mean she wasn't raped, but if true (and I do mean if), it would seriously raise a ton a questions about her lieing. Oh and let's not forget her lawyer graduated from florida .

 

 

And there is 0 evidence of any foul play.  She didn't have cuts, bruises...anything.  He/Said she said.  Someone that I work with now that used to work specifically with sex crimes for Jax prosecutor's office said that 90% of the time there's just not enough evidence to file charges.  The only reason why this is being pushed at all is because he's famous.

I have, and I will say it again, you will not shut us out, 99% sure of that.  I am actually watching y'alls Idaho game right now, Fowler and Powell may actually have a field day on your offensive line, Idaho is getting consistent hits and pressure on Winston.  Again, I think the score even being close is a stretch in this game, but I see Kelvin Taylor running one in, or Patton taking a kickoff back, something like that, at least.

 

No, they won't. Jameis was holding the ball too long against Idaho. It had nothing to do with their pass rush.

I read today that Skyler Mornhinweg is expected to start again for the Gators.  Against the likely National Championship game bound  ' Noles,  he's going to need much more than the football knowledge that his father Marty Mornhinweg taught him.

As an Offensive Coordinator,  his dad is a good coach.  The 2013 Jets Offense from a talent standpoint won't remind anyone of the 2007 Patriots.   Yet,  despite that,  the Jets still have 5 wins.   Defense and Special Teams can only carry a team so far.

 

In any event,  Skyler Mornhinweg is in a very difficult spot going against an elite FSU team in a game that the ' Noles must win.    That much more considering the current plight of Florida and Skyler Mornhinweg's relative lack of experience.

  Marty actually made a worse decision in the OT period itself when he accepted a holding penalty instead of making it 4th and 8.    Mornhinweg thought Bears HC Dick Jauron would go for a relatively long FG despite kicking into the wind.    Big mistake,  especially considering the Lions Defense was on the field the vast majority of time since there was around 5 minutes remaining in regulation time.  The Bears went on to convert the first down and eventually kicked the game winning FG.   The Lions never won another game that season.    That game contributed greatly to Mornhinweg losing his job.  And as of today still not getting another HC opportunity despite his good track record under Andy Reid as Eagles Offensive Coordinator.  

 

  To Rex Ryan's credit,  he recognized that Marty Mornhinweg would be an asset to the Jets as Offensive Coordinator.

We have seen some major upsets already, including an unranked team blowing out the #5 team, so it can happen. Of course I am expecting a blowout by FSU and not disappointed the Buckeyes and Gators play at the same time, but there is no reason to think a Gators win is impossible.

I expect FSU to win too, but I remember in 2007 being ranked #2 was a bad thing as almost every second-best team lost to an unranked team. So history says the Gators have a chance.
