Pretty cool.

No Surprise - Bama vs FSU

Lol -- Oregon in the Alamo Bowl.

Disappointment -- Gator Bowl (Minnesota vs Ole Miss) - YUK

Intriguing - Pitt vs Georgia ---- Nevermind, I forgot Marino and Hershel are no longer there.

How does Oregon go to the Alamo Bowl? LOL. That game is Big Ten vs. Big 12.

Big 12 (#3) vs Pac 12 (#2)

The big question is how the heck does an Alamo get a Pac 12 (#2)   !!!

Hopefully only temporary if Fresno St beats SJS and wins the MW Championship game. It's gonna be close if both teams win out but NIU's remaining games are against 1-10 Western Michigan and either Buffalo (8-3) or Bowling Green (8-3). Fresno finishes at San Jose (5-5) and either Utah St (7-4) or Boise St (7-4).

i want them to face utah st and destroy them. playing utah st gives them a better chance at jumping n.illinois. i was really surprised when i saw the rankings. i was under the impression if fresno wins out, they get a bid.

UCF should be ahead of both of them.

Several years ago Ohio State played in the Alamo Bowl.

they should be but since they all belong in a crappy conference, that one loss really hurts ucf.

After last year's debacle, NIU should be banned from any future BCS Bowls

Isn't NIU still undefeated? That would explain it.

Why is Ole Miss Minnesota considered a disappointment? Just curious

Because the attendence will be ~ 40,000 in a 72,000 capacity stadium.

MInnesota will being ~ 7,500 fans.   Ole Miss will bring 20,000.   The other 12,500 will consist of locals that got free tix handed over to them by corporate friends.

We need another loss by Notre Dame or a little shuffle in the Big 10 to get a team that travels well.

Does anybody really think the Gator Bowl would pick Minnesota ahead of Michigan?
