South Carolina expected to hire Will Muschamp

Do you support or oppose the hire? South Carolina is so bad this season (even losing to Citadel), I think Muschamp should be an upgrade over the interim. He has been a head coach in the SEC, worked with Jim McElwain at Alabama, and had two defensive positions at Auburn. Except for his stints at Texas and with the Dolphins all of his jobs have been in the SEC. I think that will help him turn the Gamecocks around and he is good enough for the job. However I would strongly support having someone else recruit the quarterbacks.

May God have mercy on their souls, because their head coach sure won't.

Did you guys see the auburn alabama game where he kept yelling at the refs, drew a penalty, and then tried yelling at the refs again on the next play? And by yelling I meant shouting expletives in a totally unprofessional fashion. There's a difference between getting hot like Saban or jimbo but he's just in a different class. I doubt many kids are going to want to go play for somebody that treats them like animals and could potentially cost his team in games with his ridiculous antics. I truly feel sorry for usc fans

He is an upgrade over what they have now which is nobody.  But I'm not sure it's a great move.  At least SC will have a really good defense.  I'd love to see Muschamp bring in a spread type attack you see in the big12.  At least try to bring in an offense.

As a Clemson fan, I applaud this hire.
10 years ago we had Bob Hope, Johnny Cash, and Steve Jobs..... Please don't die, Kevin Bacon.

Well he made that auburn defense a force to be reckoned with. Defense is his specialty though, so you have to imagine that south Carolinas offense won't be quite the juggernaut that chump is gonna make their D.

He wasn't a great recruiter at UF. He did well recruiting corner and d-line. He was terrible at every other position leaving us with depth issues at many spots. A number of gator players said Muschamp had no real offensive game plan. He and the coaches called plays just hoping they would work. The work environment he created was one where players walked on eggshells hoping not to set him off.

Everything I stated was fact. Coach Mac has spoken a lot about the terrible environment in that locker room. Also, Powell and D-rob are the ones who spoke much about how clueless Chump was offensively. Mac has commented a lot as well. Care to refute what I said or are you just butt hurt?

Everything that he stated has been heard in the past.   What exactly did he say for you to make this statement?
