Jags vs Texans

#81

In a change of events, the Texans finish 2-14 and get the #1 overall pick.

Going against the grain, they select Derek Carr first overall, and trade Duane Brown for Guy Whimper.

There is no doubt in my mind the tinhorn organization is tanking intentionally from top to bottom.

Nobody can tell me Keenum gives that team a better chance of winning right now than Schaub does. I would be embarrassed to be a Houston fan. They play with zero heart. There is no way a team can change that much in a year if they were all giving 100%, even if this is their current coach...

Keenum is schaub is gabbert is henne.

They're all the same guy, career backups that would never lead to a team to a championship.

Even Schaub's one playoff win was no thanks to him. His entire contribution to the win was keeping it closer than it needed to be by throwing a pick-six.

IMO, Schaub gives them the best chance to win RIGHT NOW, and Keenum most likely isn't in their future starting plans. This all amounts to tanking.

Schaub is the only guy in the league with more pick-sixes than Gabbert.

They might be tanking, but it's not keenum. They'd be just as terrible with schaub.

Schaub was their QB for their huge season last year, so yes, while he was on a pick-6 frenzy this year, you can't honestly say after watching HOU offense yesterday that Keenum gives them a better shot of winning than Schaub.

He's just a guy. What part of that don't you understand? When the team around him was dominating teams last year he looked fine, sure.

As soon as the team around him wasn't making it easy for him he fell apart. Look at his stats in the second half of last year. You'd think you were looking at Gabbert's stats.

Here are the passer ratings from both of them over 5 consecutive games during part of last season. Which one is Gabbert and which one is Schaub? (without looking it up)

I am not implying that he is not just a guy. I am simply saying that he gives the tinhorns the best chance of winning RIGHT NOW. Henne and Gabbert are both "just guys", but Henne gives the best chance to win.

And he obviously doesn't. He's 3-7 in his last 10 starts and looked like crap.

He's not good, he was never good. He rode the wave of team success and now the team can't carry him.

Like I said, the texans might be tanking but they're not any better with Schaub in, he's as bad as Gabbert.

Umm..Schaub on his worst day with two broken arms and two broken legs is better than Gabbert.. lets get that straight.  That's how much Gabbert sucks.

Riding that one till the end, huh?

Gabbert = David Carr.

Perhaps, but they both still have jobs.  At this rate, Gabbert will be in the league 10 years and have a Super Bowl ring on his finger by another team by the time it's done.

Hey, maybe it'll be on the Texans!

Comparing David Carr to Blaine Gabbert is a insult to David Carr..and David Carr was a draft bust. that's how bad Gabbert sucks.  He's the worst 1st round pick QB I've ever seen.  <--- and that aint smack talk, it's the god's honest truth. Absolute worst QB I have ever seen selected in the first round..
