AR15 - 1,000 Yard Man!

It's also safe to say that AR is likely better than Justin Blackmon was ever going to be.

I dunno about that.

If Blackmon would have stayed clean & sober, he could have been great.

But the difference in the intangibles make your statement true.

What a combo they could have been.  Fortunately, it no longer hurts thinking that, knowing we have a good duo already.

Now that AR15 is elite and will be targeted more.  This will make Hurns disgruntled.  While Hurns is on the rise, should we shop Hurns for a late 1st round pick.  I think Lee, Greene, Walters, Sterling can make up for Hurns production.  Who knows Lee or Greene may turn out to be equal to Hurns.  The late 1st round pick can be used to help the O-line or defense.

Allen Robinson is awesome.  My wife's even thinking of getting his jersey, and she's not a Jags fan (yet.  I will one day convert her from the dark side)

I was wrong about Trent Baalke.

Uhhh no.

There is no indicia whatsoever Hurns would respond in such a manner.

Everything written about him thus far shows a complete team player.

As good as he's been, you couldn't get a first rounder for him, and as good a rapport as he has with Bortles, it would be folly to trade him.

Let him continue to grow with Bortles and 75-25.

You keep Hurns because he embodies this culture. Tough, competitive, and a hard worker. I wouldn't trade him for anything.

Quote:You must mean by week 12. Mike Evans and Odell Bekham Jr. both had 1,000 yards and 9+ TDs last season.

Mike Evans and OBJ were younger last season that Robinson is this season, so no.

AR15 also leads the league (by 8!! or 150% second) in 20+ yards receptions with 24.  Also, no one with 100+ targets has a higher YPC.

Allen Robinson has got to be considered top 10, right? Am I just being a Jaguars homer?

Quote:I don't see how Allen Robinson can catch up with Odell Beckham either.
For the first half of the season Robinson was sharing possession passes with Hurns. Coming into the season, the jaguars didn't know who would be the number one so things were split pretty evenly for awhile. OBJ was clearly the target for the Giants form the start. Imagine what Robinson will do next year with a better game plan for him.

Outstanding job for Hurns also, i wasnt trying to discredit him.. having them both is great.

I'm also 100% positive barring injuries, if Hurns doesn't get to 1000 yards this year he will within the next 2 years.

Do you guys think arobs skill set is also good for longevity vs other high profile receivers with insane straight line speed, or will he be subject to the same tapering off profile? Just interested in that sort of thing. I have hope he'll maintain dominance a lot longer for his vertical aggressiveness rather than spee, not sure that is how it works though.

I can't name 9 receivers I'd rather have on the Jags roster ahead of him. That's for sure.
