I'm not sure how the tie breakers will work out, but this is how I see the records.

SOS is the combined winning percentage of all 16 opponents (division teams count twice). I have no idea how the NFL figures that out - maybe someone good at math knows.

It is very likely the Browns and Titans will go 1-2.

I don't know if NFL.com includes future opponents in determining the SOS of each team. Because the website is official, I assume these numbers are accurate.

Apparently a lot of pundits are using the same formula to figure out each team's SOS, so there should be no confusion about that.

Who cares where a team drafts really? It's all about the quality of the entire draft. We've been drafting in the top 10 for a decade and look at us, while New England has been drafting in the bottom 10 for a decade and look at them. It's quality of the entire draft.

I think rufftime's point is it will be great when we are competitive and win more games. That has nothing to do with who will be available at our pick number.

One reason New England does so well is extra draft picks. Every year the Patriots go trade-crazy both before and during the draft.
