I don't see the Muhammad or Boldin comparison; they had / have more physicality to their game than Hurns does. Honestly, he reminds me of Marvin Harrison in that his precision and body control helps him separate from the Defender rather than his speed. Neither of them are burners, but they do have enough speed to pull away.

Just watching the Jaguars so long he reminds of McCardell, I don't how their measurables stack up I'm just saying the way he lays out for the pass and doesn't worry about the hit, the way he gets YAC I watch him and he reminds me of how McCardell used to play in his prime.

Keenan listed at 6'1 191. Hurns is 6'1 198 (combine height/weight)

Hurns reminds of a guy who wears #88 and played WR for the Jaguars in the 2014 NFL season.

Marvin Harrison was lighter and didn't play with reckless abandon,  I don't think I've ever seen him break a tackle and even seen Harrison willing go down 2 yards before the sticks on a game needing 3rd and 10.  His speed was Elite too running a 4.38 40 time.  I don't know what Marvin Harrison you were watching but they play the position completely different.

That's why I brought this to you guys. Some guy on the Rotoworld forum's said he might light up Atlanta because... and I quote.... "he is a similar WR to Ginn" who just let lit up Atlanta. I couldn't think of a comparison for Hurns, but it sure as heck isn't Tedd Ginn lol.

I do agree about Harrison being non-physical, but the craftiness that both of them have is what I base mine on. Their numbers might be different, but I feel like the style is very similar.

the route running comparison I certainly see I like what Hurns does after the catch more and thats where I see a young Anquan Boldin.  I think the biggest difference I see between him and Marvin is Marvin could beat you with speed or precision and I think Hurns only really beats you with precision consistently than breaks you with physicality.  


I guess the main reason I hate the comparison is I hated the way Harrison played football and avoided contact and got soft at times.  I don't see that in Hurns game at all.

I keep thinking of Rod Smith only because he was undrafted and had a great career.

Marvin Harrison was definitely a burner, he had elite speed along with elite route running ability.
