Mini meltdown on the Colts board
|
Quote:1. It once again shows that when you beat a team, at home, that is playing their 3rd string QB and you act like this that the Jags fan base is not use to success.1. So tell us how ANY fan base would respond in the aftermath of blowing out a hated division rival? Do you think Steelers fans, who support a team that has won six Super Bowls, somehow do not take glee in thumping the Browns? Are Cowboys fans, who support a team that has won FIVE Super Bowls, somehow muted when they beat the Skins? When the Patriots hand you your butts again, do they respond with a collective yawn? How should football fans respond to [BLEEP] slapping a division rival? A soft polite golf clap? Here's a clue: when your team gets trounced by another-especially a division rival, and you go to that team's board, you are going to see some chest thumping and some not so nice things said about your team. If you can't accept that, maybe message boards aren't for you. 2. It's relevant to the conversation because YOU talked about fans not being accustomed to success. You act as if all Colts fans have ever known is success. They haven't. Those of you who weren't Colts fans before Manning bandwagon hopped if you live outside Indy. Maybe it applies to you...maybe not. I can't tell due to all the bandwagon hoppers. 3. Perhaps Pagano looks like a terrible coach because Grigson keeps handing him terrible players. I mean it's kind of hard building a running game to support Luck when your GM trades first round picks for Trent Richardson. It's kind of hard to stop the run consistently when you bypass stud DTs for diminutive WRs you don't need in the first round. It's hard to play well down the stretch of the season when you sign blue hairs like Frank Gore and Andre Johnson. We won't know for sure. But he groused about not having an OL worth anything, and his words evidenced tension between he and the front office. Question: would YOU keep Grigson as GM? Worst to 1st. Curse Reversed!

Quote:I couldn't care less if you scored 300 points and were still heaving the ball around. There is no such thing as running up the score, defense should stop you.Hasselbeck is your top QB in record and stats? You seem to take great delight in beating rubbish AFC South teams and then banging on about what a good team you were. Now we have the top QB unluckily for you! Quote:Funny thing was the scores just kept coming. But THAT's the ironic thing. It's not as if there was an avalanche of turnovers that led to the blowout. There were two. The Branch ff, recovery and TD when the Colts were in control of the game right before halftime, and Cyp's INT when the game was already well under Jaguars control. The Jaguars just got in a zone. Worst to 1st. Curse Reversed!
I kinda love how CW comes here to condescend after getting destroyed by the Jags.
Someone's insecure. Quote:Hasselbeck is your top QB in record and stats?Looks like a fan who can dish it out but not take it. His team gets an epic beat down from a division rival, he goes onto that rival team's message board, and is bent out of shape because that team's fans bash his team. I guess in his eyes, we're just a bunch of big ol doody head meanies! X-D Worst to 1st. Curse Reversed!

And Patriots probably do yawn when they whip us because they've come accustomed to doing that under Pagano/Grigson. 2. Yeah let's go back 20 years!! VERY relevant to what's going on now! *[BAD WORD REMOVED] noise*. Also, doesn't pertain to me. 3. I'll put it this way: I'd fire both Pagano & Grigson, but I'm in the minority here and believe Pagano is more of a problem than Grigson. But to clarify, because I know you & everyone else will twist what I'm saying: I want BOTH fired. EDIT: Wait, really? f(a)rt is a bad word on this board? LOL
Quote:I kinda love how CW comes here to condescend after getting destroyed by the Jags. Oh we're back to this again.... Jag fans go to quote 2015. As a general rule, is it common or uncommon for fans of a football team to express jubilation over crushing a division rival, irrespective of whether the team is used to success or not? 2. Events prior to 1998 are relevant when judging Colts fans. If they bandwagon hopped after that, success is pretty much all they know. Because events PRIOR to inepting your way into Manning and tanking your way to Luck don't paint your organization in such a good light. 3. I've no desire or inclination to twist anything you say. Your tacit arguments are quite inept on their own. Worst to 1st. Curse Reversed!
Quote:1.You didn't answer the questions. As a general rule, is it common or uncommon for fans of a football team to express jubilation over crushing a division rival, irrespective of whether the team is used to success or not? 1. Jubilation is not the word I'd use. Jubilation is the word you use for winning the Super Bowl. Not a week 14 game when your team isn't going anywhere the rest of the season. 2. So the Colts organization has been, for the most part, extremely successful (especailly when compared to teams like Jacksonville) for the past 18 years? "Don't paint your organization in such a good light" I don't think I have to, you're doing a great job of that yourself. 3. Well, apparently not... Considering you've already made up stuff that I've said in this thread. Plus, many other posters are great at doing it as well (loa).
Quote:Literally every line you stated in this post is incorrect. Sheesh. 0/3. The colts don't have a better record with Hasselbeck than Luck??? May want to check that. Bortles is more talented than Luck and definitely playing at a higher level than Luck was year 2. Better than year 3? Not sure but comparable. Definitely better than this year.
Of course they are whining.
The Colts have been very good for a long time. The fans are frustrated because they had high hopes for this year. They went all in with the older free agents (in fairness Gore has looked good when I have seen him.) They are now in a place where their defense is suspect, their line is still questionable and their running game, or at least Gore, are going to be a year older. Indy fans should be disappointed. They haven't had a season this disappointing since the year before they drafted Manning (I leave out 2-14 because of the suck for Luck campaign)

Their defence is better than ours they only get shredded by elite QBs like Big Ben, Brady and Bortles. We would get shredded by Gabbert or Jimmy Clausen and Fitzpatrick is basically a god against us.
Quote:The colts don't have a better record with Hasselbeck than Luck??? May want to check that. Now you're even forgetting what you said yourself and it was only an hour ago.
Quote:Now you're even forgetting what you said yourself and it was only an hour ago. Take a break CW, you are coming across like a big baby. Keep to posting on the clots site how you are a dangerous playoff team...Luckily you won't face Bortles if you make it!
Quote:Eh...we kinda did. As nice as getting 50 was, there really was no reason for it. Kick the FG and be done with it. The reason they went for the Td and not the FG was because Meyers needs all the reps he can get kicking extra points. He's actually improved lately in kicking Fgs.
I survived the Gus Bradley Error.

And Mr Garbagetime was prowling the sideline. The colts would probably recover 3 straight on side kicks with Luck under center.
Why doesn't Henne get the amount of camera time on the sideline? Way better facial hair.
Quote:Take a break CW, you are coming across like a big baby. Jag fans 2015
Quote:Jag fans 2015 We just complain about our kicker. You guys complain about in bounds hits, running up the score etc etc judging by your board. You stink. It's better to just acknowledge it, I have since 08 and I still get up at 3am to watch every Sunday (Monday here) and go to work like a zombie after some epic beat downs. |
