Khalil Mack
|
I think Fowler will be a poor man's Khalil Mack; he doesn't have his explosion or quite his bend but he has everything else. Much like Mack, Fowler can exceed pretty much at every position in the front 7 (obvious he is more fit at SLB or SDE but you get the point). He plays the run aggressively, can drop into coverage, and can bull rush a lineman. Fowler needs better technique and needs to work on his lower body power, which Mack already had coming out, but Mack is also 3 years older than Fowler. A poor man's Khalil Mack is still probably a pro bowler in this league who offers great run defense and flexibility on a defense and puts consistent pressure on the QB. I think Mack, like Von Miller, gets a lot of his pressures going to the inside of a lineman. Fowler is similar in that way as well.

Quote:Bortles-Fowler-A.Rob vs Carr-Mack-Cooper! Shame on the NFL if this game isn't on Sunday or Monday night next year. Really cool stuff. This could be the core of AFC championship games in the future.

2015 NFL Draft - Analyzing Targets www.jungle.jaguars.com/index.php?/topic/7892-2015-nfl-draft-analyzing-targets/
I want to play the Raider later into the season when both teams are settled in. if we're both doing well then the game should get flexed to primetime.
