WalterFootball week 15 3 round mock

#1

Usually dont like their mocks but this is one of the bettter ones yet.

With Hargreaves and Bosa off the board, it would be a tough pick between Jaylon Smith and Ramsey for me.  With FS being the bigger need IMO I think its the right pick.  Also like the 2nd round pick to add another pass rusher.  The 3rd round pick would be a question mark for me, I think I would go dline again with Carl Lawson.  Thoughts?

Love Ramsey. Do not want Nassib at all, Darron Lee or Noah Spence way way way better. Don't know enough to comment on the 3rd round, but Lee in the 2nd and Lawson for the pass rusher in the 3rd sounds like a fantastic first two days to me.

Ramsey is a top 3 player in this draft.

If it shakes out like that, yeah, Ramsey almost has to be the pick. The cornerback talent is there, imo, but this defense is at least a free safety and a pass rusher away. Hopefully Fowler can come back and be that pass rusher, but none of the safeties on the roster since Bradley arrived has been the type of center fielder his defense needs.

More importantly, Ramsey is good against the run, and plays the blitz well. He's the kind of guy that Gus creates a name for a position for lol.

The first pick would be a no-brainer. Not really thrilled with the 2nd and 3rd round picks.

Ramsay would be great, but I doubt he'll be available. Nassib is extremely raw, but his production this year has been amazing. I'll be watching him closely when they play Georgia. If not him, I'd also love either Lee or Spence. They must take a pass rusher in either round 1 or 2. As far as round 3, I would take one of the tackles- probably Murphy from Stanford.

I'd rather see some combination of defensive back, defensive tackle and linebacker with the first two picks. Marks is on two season-ending injuries in a row, and he hadn't even fully recovered from the first before the second happened. I think a second-round DT paired with a first-round DB would make sense.

We have the OTTO and LEO. How about the HUGO?

I hope Ramsey somehow falls to the jaguars. There are a lot of guys that are good value where it looks like we will be picking though.

I'm happy we don't need a qb, wr, te, or even rb in the first round this draft.
Coughlin when asked if winning will be a focus: "What the hell else is there? This is nice and dandy, but winning is what all this is about."
