Not sure if I have ever seen a player more classless than this guy. He was just getting worked by Norman and then taking cheap shot after cheap shot.

The guy is soft as cotton and I hope he gets fined and a nice suspension.

It was embarrassing to watch. He definitely should be suspended. I read he threw like 8 punches, landed 6, and that helmet to helmet shot after the play was one of the most pathetic things I've ever seen.
Coughlin when asked if winning will be a focus: "What the hell else is there? This is nice and dandy, but winning is what all this is about."

Makes me think of when House got into his head in preseason

I was thinking that too.  He gets rattled pretty easily.

He dropped a TD pass early that game that could have set the tone for that game.

He just simply dropped it.

He wasn't ejected?  He should have been.  The game has no place for that.

Shame on the officials for losing control of that situation.  OBJ should have been tossed and hopefully the league suspends him for a game.

I doubt he gets a suspension. A pretty hefty fine will work.

He should be done for the year and Norman should honestly get a game as well. Both of them were out of control.

Just goes to show star players get a lot more leeway then other players.

That's really no more evident then at the QB position though.

I only saw some of the highlights of his behavior, did any flags thrown against him?

I thought Norman was good for the most part played hard at the whistle everything he did was retaliation for something cheap from OBJ.  OBJ should have been ejected before it got as out of hand as it did

Go Jags!
*To stay up for atleast 2 years 3/6/17
2016 draft players I think will be good
  • On the Fournette train, will be best back of his class 3/6/17
  • Lattimore please,  Lockdowns on both sides would be nice
  • Engram at TE and the MJD clone Samaje Perine

Yeah that helmet hit was one of the most cowardly things I've seen on a football field. Talented enough to just let his play do the talking.

I agree that OBJ was the most egregious offender, especially with that disgusting launch, but Norman had been going at him all game as well. Keep in mind Norman is a guy that fought his own QB, so I can't imagine he didn't do his part in instigating that dangerous situation.

I'd pick Allen Robinson over Beckham every day and twice on Sunday.

Me too.  I'll take the guy that is talented and not a head-case vs the guy that is talented but a head-case all day every day.

Throw money at Norman. Dude is such a baller.

Pathetic showing by him. Even at the end when he caught the TD it looked like he tried to throw in a kick at Norman.

I disagree. IMO neither of them should miss any time. Fine them both for sure, OBJ deserves a much larger fine, but most players don't get fined for their first launch into defenseless receivers. I don't see why this would be any different when it comes to that aspect of situation.

The refs did a really poor job of officiating the game and IMO they deserve their share of the blame. There were obvious deadball unsportsmanlike penalties from both guys that occurred right in front of the refs and went unpenalized. The refs should have done a better job of keeping these guys in check with penalties. I think that would have prevented things from escalating. Either way, it will be interesting to see how/if the league handles the situation.

He has no class.. he got out played by Norman and acted unprofessionally why he wasnt thrown out of the game is beyond my understanding but the Commish should fine him & maybe suspend him for that head hit if nothing else...
