Blake Bortles Qb Ucf

Quote:Biggest problem with him is his absolute noodle of an arm.Boy, couldn't have been much more wrong than this. He could be the most accurate 20+ yd QB in the league. We show less advertisements to registered users. Accounts are free; join today!
I would like to thank this thread for giving me quotes to throw out in the fantasy football chat I'm in with TMD....he surprisingly has not responded to any of it.
He couldn't stop running his big fat mouth on Sunday, but yesterday he fell silent. Quote:Boy, couldn't have been much more wrong than this. He could be the most accurate 20+ yd QB in the league. Lol! Vagrantwade. That guy was impossible. And he was completely wrong with just about every single post/prediction. Good stuff. What happened to that guy? Is he now a faithful follower in a Vikings forum somewhere? Hahahaha
Quote:Oh Johnny Jaguar, we hardly knew ye. But TRUST HIM. He knows a thing or two.
IT WAS ALWAYS THE JAGS
Quote:But TRUST HIM. He knows a thing or two. That was almost sad watching that guy tell all of us how "in the know" he was. Then, not only does Jacksonville let him go by but the article comes out where Dave didn't even tell his wife who he wanted to select until just a few days before the Draft. Maybe almost as sad as watching whoever that The Mad Dog character was try to insult everyone on the board just due to the sheer audacity of not making a Teddy Bridgewater thread.
I'm trying to make myself more informed and less opinionated.

I never posted in this thread because Bortles was unknown to me. I thought Bortles Was the next tebow, just based off the Baylor game. I remember wanting Manziel. Ha! Good thing I'm not a general manager, and so glad we have Bortles.
No commercial messages in sigs
Have to admit, I didn't want bortles or Carr. Both have done well so far.
As a matter of fact it looks like bortles, Carr, and bridgwater all are having a fair amount of success. Maybe we couldn't have gone wrong with any of them. But I'm still glad we have bortles. He looks to me to have the most upside and escapability.
Quote:I would like to thank this thread for giving me quotes to throw out in the fantasy football chat I'm in with TMD....he surprisingly has not responded to any of it. lol, there is certainly some classic TMD postings throughout this thread. Was he ever right on any of his predictions?
I survived the Gus Bradley Error.

Quote:He would tell us if he did, but he made so many I doubt he could keep track. Maybe it's the beer but I am going to defend TMD for a second. He was right. On some things. I agreed with him on more than a few instances. His predictions in and of itself were not his problem- his hit rate for predictions were probably similar to anyone else. His problem was that he asserted his opinion as if it were absolute fact and then beat it dead and deader and deadest, never letting go until no one could take it anymore. That along with his crazy meglamania delusions of grandeur made him hard to bare at times. But he wasn't always wrong.
Who?

Quote:Maybe it's the beer but I am going to defend TMD for a second. His real problem is saying something and then not admitting to his faults or changing his story to fit the facts. Take Olson for example, his biggest issue was that he didn't stretch the ball vertically down field. When it was pointed out the Jags lead the league in 20 plus plays and they start putting points on the board, he changes the criticism of him to we should be scoring more because we have the talent. It's just a never ending, brain dead argument with him.

Quote: Hahaha, wow. Quote:Hahaha, wow.Sounds like NFL Draft Scout on Twitter. He LUBS him some Teddy B.
Just imagine what NFL people would be saying about BB5 if the Jags had found a way to win just 2 or 3 more games right now and be 7-8 or even 8-7 going into this week's game at Houston, especially with the TDs and stats BB5 has right now.
Just imagine................................................................
I survived the Gus Bradley Error.
Quote:They really weren't. Accurate? Yes. Darts? No.hey.... this guy disappeared in February.... where'd he goooooo? We show less advertisements to registered users. Accounts are free; join today! Quote:Have to admit, I didn't want bortles or Carr. Both have done well so far.If Teddy was on this team, he'd be broken, physically and mentally. He has leaned hard on AP and a strong defense. in this thread or another I had the audacity to say Bortles> or = Bridgewater. I was lambasted. I also, once upon a time, wanted the Jags to draft Mack in the first, and Carr in the second.... Carr was the next Gabbert is all I heard.... It's nice to go back and see that these message board tools disappear after being so wrong for 6 months or longer. The real fans are the 10-20 of us that say our piece, eat our crow, and move on. Arguing and all included. I would hate to stick my foot in my mouth so bad that I couldn't come back to the board under the same name lol Quote:hahaWe'll he did start off on the bench.. BTW if you went back just a few more pages you would see that I was a fan of drafting Bortles.
"Before you criticize a man, walk a mile in his shoes. That way, if he gets angry, he's a mile away and barefoot."
Quote:Because it's been too long since this was shown. This is probably Bortles biggest fail. How do you mess that up?
