Jerry has been shopping for the next QB for a while, remember all the Johnny Money talk.

I'm not sure, it'd be close. I'm personally not a fan of taking CB's or Safeties that high, I want guys that play closer to the line of scrimmage. It wouldn't surprise me if the Jaguars took DT Andrew Billings from Baylor, he's as dominant/disruptive/athletic as Aaron Donald was coming out of Penn State, I like Myles Jack and Jaylon Smith as well but LB seems to be the deepest position in next years draft. I believe we can find a stud at that position in rounds 2/3.

I think Jerry is still trying to win a title with Romo and will focus on improving the roster right away. Also I wouldn't be shocked to see him send a late round pick to Cleveland for Manziel and hope to rehab his career.

Even with the injury I don't think he'll be available in round 2, but a guy like Darron Lee from Ohio State might be, he's another sideline to sideline quicktwitch backer.

If I'm a 49er fan I'm not to happy about the meaningless win against the Rams today, as Jared Goff will probably go to Dallas at #4. Goff is a really nice fit for San Fran as he's from CA and grew up a 49ers fan. He reminds me of Philip Rivers, he needs to sit for a year or so but he has a big upside.

Drafting a CB/S at 5 seems crazy to me.  He better be elite.

I'd much rather trade down at this initial juncture.  Obviously we'll see what happens as there is a lot of time left.  But trading down to pick 13/15 and picking up more picks seems far more great if doable considering we are not looking for our QB and that is where the expense is.  Hoping a few QBs test out well and our draft selection because valuable.

All the talk now is Manziel in Dallas. No way he wears a Cleveland jersey in 2016.

Let me swallow hard and say, Gabbert may be the guy in San Francisco.

With Lavonte and Kwon, I doubt Tampa takes a LB that high.

I wonder if the 9ers would think about trading up with the chargers to pick their next QB or if they really will run with Gabbert.

No thanks, Weddle is old.

Ramsey has all of the ability and instincts to be an elite safety in this league. FS is arguably the biggest need on this team and Ramsey would step in from day one. He'd hold that position down for a long time.

I wouldn't be against it if Dave thinks Weddle can play at a high level for a few more years.
